ngl i wouldn't wish my worst enemy to go to this school. the administration is terrible. especially the dean who the staff regularly talk poorly about behind her back lol. teachers are beyond careless for their students (some are okay). genuinely the worst 3 years of my life were here. my sister goes here and wants to transfer because of how prison like this school is. this school does not care about your mental health and you are better off going to a different school near by. they are overly strict for no reason and are like the ICE version on high schools. from someone who's currently doing their bachelors this school will not prepare you well for your future. read more

this school is ridiculous the classes small like the last part of my last name and the administration is childish as all hell. they do not help child with mental disabilities instead when they act out they get them in trouble and i'm not talking suspensions they claim they hate giving fines but shoot them off like they're Rambo. it is ridiculous i'd reather send my kids to hartford and that's saying something get this absolute shithole of a school either better administration or tear down the whole school district and rebuild i wish i could give it 0 stars. read more

This place is stinky, rundown, and ran by monkeys in suits. Do not enroll your children here if you think that they deserve a good education because you will definitely be disappointed when they come home from school everyday feeling more and more depressed. And don't expect the school to do anything about it. read more

Prior to high school, I was an MPS, and then a WAWM public school student. DSHA is such a positive world of difference compared to public schools. The teachers at DSHA truly care about the girls, ALL of the girls. They expect excellence because they know you are capable of excellence. They truly care, and want to see you do well. This is not just a "paycheck" for them. The academics are stellar with an abundance of AP courses offered. How many high schools can say not only did 100% of students graduate, but were ALSO accepted into 4-year universities? Very few. DSHA has a fantastic athletic program as well with quite a few championships. Many athletes are student scholars. Lastly, DSHA is a school centered around the Catholic faith with theology classes, retreats, and service opportunities. A student does not have to be Catholic though to attend as there are students of Jewish, Muslim, and Protestant faiths. DSHA transforms girls in to strong, confident, well-rounded, educated young ladies ready to take on the world! A DSHA grad is a force to be reckoned with. Please do not take my word for it though. Visit their website, and check them out. Their statistics speak for themselves.

I can only fairly review the facilities for recreation, this is where many Special Olympics games like basketball are held and it's a very good venue. The courts have been improved by better lighting and there are immediate plans for resurfacing. Adequate parking.
