One of those things has been tooth pain and finding out I needed to have a root canal before leaving. I was referred to Uzzel Dental Group by a friend and they were able to schedule to see me within two weeks. Dr. Uzzel is the most gentle, kind, and exceptionally talented Dentist I have ever been treated by. He and his staff have been clear with all that is going on and how they would treat it. Dr. Kristy Bultema at Beavercreek Endodontics who he referred to perform my root canal itself was warm and comforting (even after having some not so fun side effects from the numbing agent) and did an amazing job. Then to top it all off due to some PCSing gymnastics I had to wait at Dr. Uzzel's office for a couple of hours after walking across the street from having my root canal done to put the permanent crown on and his staff has been absolutely amazing. (To reiterate the wait was not their fault it was due to PCSing fun. If anything it was a huge favor to squeeze me in before our out processing date.) His staff has taken care of me all morning. Treating me like family. Even giving me snacks and making sure I have been comfortable. Additionally, I had a beautiful connection with a fellow patient that was extremely encouraging. I would recommend Uzzel Dental Group and Beavercreek Endodontics to anyone looking for dental care in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base area. Especially for those of you that might have aversions to going to the dentist.

My parents also switched to Michael last fall after getting a second opinion & took care of my father's dental needs right away. You're welcomed by the team as soon as you walk in the door, quick check in, then I was greeted by Ashley dental hygienist. She was so friendly, accommodating and detailed, it truly was the most thorough dental cleaning I've ever experienced. Then Dr Michael came in, also completed a detailed inspection too. Great to know everything was good & scheduled for my next visit in 6 months. Thank you for great service in Kettering, Ohio

Do not let the old reviews fool you - you will just be a number here now; this is no longer a family dentist. Their cancellation policy is one-way and will not stop them from canceling on you for the dumbest of reasons. In the last year they have canceled my family's appointments multiple times at the last minute only to reschedule them more than a month later. They genuinely could care less; this place grew and grew chasing the dollars while the patients suffered. Find another dentist or be sorry.

I had my cleaning and an additional treatment was recommended. I was told they would check with my insurance and "get back to me." After two months and hearing nothing, I contacted them. At that point I was told they hadn't done all the x-rays they needed to and could I get the old ones from my old dentist. Say what? They didn't do what they were supposed to, never got back to me and I have to do the legwork to resolve it! Although I asked twice why the x-rays weren't taking, they refused to answer. Basically, they dropped the ball, blew off their commitment to follow up and now tell me they can't do anything unless I get the x-rays they neglected to take. Well, I can do something and have: I can get a new dentist.

When I returned to remove it and place the new one I told him I was still in pain and essentially no response. He removed the temp wiped my mouth (without assessing if something else was wrong) and seated the permanent bridge; I've been in pain ever since. The next week I returned and he announced he wanted to do several root canals- to solve the pain problem, I was devastated. I had paid thousands of dollars for a bridge that has hurt to this day and he wanted to do more expensive and painful work. I've seen several endodontists who are unsure which tooth may need a root canal or if that would solve the problem. The prognosis for complete recovery and pain free status is not good and in fact could be this way the rest of my life I do not recommend this dentist or practice. They refused to refund the money for the bridge. Terrible work and customer service.

Dr Quinttus never took xrays during any of his procedures. By the way, I am writing this review 9 months after Dr Quinttus extracted the abscessed tooth. Due to Dr Quinttus: I suffered jaw bone abscess, continue with severe jaw pain, continue to suffer with problems speaking, and continue to suffer from numbness of the teeth/gums/cheek/lip in that area.
