I brought my bike into Gerick Cycle and after a brief explanation and demonstration to one of the mechanics, I left to see the town. I returned to the shop when I was told my bike would be ready to find it was just finished. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it shifted better than when it was new and it was tuned to perfection. I'm happy to say that Gerick's completed the repair on-the-spot and for a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend them.

We were on a riding vacation and my dropper seatpost was occasionally releasing. They charged me…read more$45 to replace the cable and made the situation worse by making the cable way too short. I also had a loose fork and had stripped the nut, they did not know how to fix it. I ended up going to Gericks bike shop in Nelson who charged me $5 to fix the fork. I then missed a day of riding in Rossland as the dropper seat post problem was very frustrating and ended up driving Gericks in Trail where they replaced the cable with a longer cable and then loosened the cable which fixed the seatpost issue. Gericks charged me $20 (compared to Sacered Ride's $45 for making the problem worse). Sacered Ride also charged my friend $30 for a break blead, something that would cost $15 anywhere else.

"Larry" went out of his way to fully prepare us for our adventure on the trails in and around Nelson and area. The Orbea bikes that were provided were in excellent condition, fully charged and properly sized. "Larry" is very knowledgeable in the product that he is providing, but also freely shares a wealth of information concerning local trails and conditions. In short "Larry" went the distance to make our ride safe and enjoyable and we would have no problem as return customers or recommending his services to others.
