Dont use them they will waste your time. I made a complaint to WIRO for the atrocious representation or lack of by Gerard Malouf and Partners they wasted 6 months of my time. They acted completely incompetent and showed no professionalism throughout the organisation.
They failed to provide any of my medical documentation to the scheduled medical assessor prior to my appointment. They also didn't provide any to their medico provider (Assess Medical Group) who they use that provides documents to the Doctor. They then cancelled the appointment less than a week before and asked to reschedule some 4 weeks later. They had all the documentation for 5 months but did absolutely nothing.
I complained to their Client Care Manager who did nothing. I then complained to a Senior Associate who also did nothing, both who both stated they would investigate my complaint and get back to me but never did. The customer service they provided me was nothing short of disgraceful. The excuse they gave to me was "workers compensation pays so badly that only about $3,000 is paid for each case until settlement".
Also they didn't ask me to prepare any supporting document or ask my friends or family to provide any, that can be given to the assessor and used later. My new solicitor has requested this from me from their first contact.
They also failed to provide me with any documentation detailing representation, funding or financial settlement matters. They also did not provide me with their 'Guide to Maximum Justice' booklet, which I had to download from their website.
In summary the only task that GMP performed in just over 5 months was to request my file from the insurer and make a medical appointment, which they then rescheduled. But they happily made a claim for funding from WIRO so they could get paid. This is probably what they do maybe that should be investigated.
At a very difficult time in my life having been diagnosed with major depression and anxiety, I have tried to avoid stressful and complicated situations. Gerard Malouf and Partners are all about fake marketing hype, everything you hear they say is completely a lie. Thanks for wasting my time I hope everyone reads this - if you use them they will only waste your time and give you poor representation. read more
