While it did require surgery, in my case, I no longer suffer with what I dealt with for many, many years, including strenuous hiking in the mountains all day. He also was the only surgeon to help me when my mother broke her neck. All other surgeons wrote her off and would do nothing...literally. Dr. Hynes gave her pain free living for the final years of her life. For that I am indebted to him.

After the Dr read the MRI reports, she was going to schedule me with a consultation with their Orthopedic Dr and Neurologist, but when I got up to the desk, they had called to see if my case was closed yet, and it had been, so they told me I couldn't come back for rest of my PT or see the Dr's. So beware when choosing this company. When in a accident in FL and obtain a Lawyer, your Dr's can't see you, and there's not many Drs to choose from that will see accident patients, so you don't have much of a choice. I would never recommend Complete Care to anyone. I've warned all the people in my Senior exercise class about them and how they dropped me like I was nothing. it's all about money...

That referral truly changed my life. In mid-October 2025, Dr. Keller and his PA, Michael Teepe, performed my L5-S1 spinal fusion. From the very beginning, Dr. Keller quickly and confidently diagnosed the issue and recommended a surgical solution that ultimately proved to be life-changing. His clarity, professionalism, and calm demeanor immediately gave me confidence that I was finally on the right path. Every step of the way, both Dr. Keller and Michael Teepe were thorough, attentive, and reassuring. What stood out to me just as much was something unexpected -- every time I went in for X-rays, MRIs, or pre-surgery appointments and was asked who was performing my surgery, when I said "Dr. Keller," without fail I heard things like, "Oh, you're going to feel great soon," or "You are in great hands." Hearing that consistently from other medical professionals significantly eased any doubts or second thoughts I had. Now, just four months post-surgery, my life is already dramatically different and much closer to what it was before the pain took over. I still have healing ahead of me, but the improvement has been incredible. I'm genuinely excited about the future and getting back to living a full, active, pain-free life. I have degenerative disc disease and went through back pain for over 20 years before I had an L3-S1 fusion. Lots of follow up and xrays to make sure everything is healing properly. I couldn't be happier with how my surgery got rid of my pain immediately. Also, it made me an inch taller! While I have lost a lot of flexibility (its my own fault becuase I don't stretch), I would do the surgery again in a heartbeat. I love the B.A.C.K. Center! When I went to Deuk Spine Institute, they suggested facet joint injections. I didn't want a bandaid- I wanted it FIXED. Dr. Hynes did just that. None of this would have been an option had not my insurance been stellar....that is why I waited 8 years in having the fusion. Bad insurance in 2012. Sad, but all too common in the US.
