I had the privilege of working with Keana this summer for her Naked in Nature series…read more Prior to the shoot Keana had sent me tons of emails with helpful style guides, product packages, what to expect, location info.. you name it, she was there for it with help. The phone consultation was long and in-depth making sure she knew exactly what I wanted and took the time to get to know me. Never once did I feel rushed with her. She even called me before the shoot to make sure I was ready to go mentally and outfits etc! Talk about awesome customer service!!! It almost feels too personal to put it in the 'customer service category'. Shoot Day: I went in to her studio (that looks and smells like heaven.. seriously) a scared wet cat and came out a confident goddess. The Glam Squad prepped me into a work of art and we set off into the woods to let the fun begin. Keana guided my painfully awkward self through all the poses, providing privacy for changing and it felt like we were old friends even though I met her that day. The shooting flew by. When we did the image reveal and she said she had about 60 images for me my jaw hit the floor. Not a chance that 60 decent pictures of me exist. Nope. But they did !!! Today I picked up my products and as soon as I got to the car I cried like a little baby. I couldn't believe what I was holding and how proud I was of the art we created together. This experience pushed me so far out of my comfort zone and I can't wait to do it again. Keana, you opened up a side of me I didn't know existed and I am eternally thankful for you Can't wait til our next session together !

I first followed her on Instagram, and began to learn about her process, positive philosophy, and her open and welcoming personality. After a few months of admiring her gorgeous photography, I decided to book a session for myself, as a gift. Keana was great at communicating with me about all the details and what to expect each step of the way. She provides guidance and inspiration for your styling choices, poses, and session and is a great creative collaborator as your final works of art are made. I highly recommend anyone who is curious about booking a session to reach out and chat with her about your concerns and questions! You will walk away wanting to try something liberating and beautiful!

It isn't easy to get a bunch of guys together to take great photos, but Anne knew how to work it, and the photos are epic. Jill was the ultimate dream with the women. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. I have never felt so glamorous. I've been a part of so many weddings, and I have watched a lot of friends and family experience disappointment with their photos. Anne and Jill are both artists, not just people who decided to become wedding photographers. You see the difference when you look at their photos. A lot of my friends have used them, and they all have the most GORGEOUS photos. I recommend using FH for everything from engagement photos, to boudoir, to wedding photos. And print out your photos! Seeing them in person takes your breath away.

We posed for them and we knew they'd be taking photos while we were in action on the river. Good idea! After the trip, we got a link to see the photos, which were very good, many choices to pick from. Unfortunately the charge so much, so we settled for 2 photos that we ordered, on paper. For a digital (which it'd be better) they charge more. Ok delivery, I can't say I liked the contrast, 5X7 size, I would have liked 4X6. I know they need to make a living, but if the prices would have been lowered we would have gotten more prints or digital files of the photos from them. In a situation like this no one wins, they could have made more money and we would have been happier customers if we'd have been able to order more!

Because she was familiar with our venue already, she knew exactly where to place my family and me. She knew all the great shots, the perfect poses, and she kept the sessions to a minimum so that we could enjoy the evening. She photographed our rings, our bridal party, our flower girl, our cakes - all with minimal guidance. And she made us feel at ease, and taken care of, even as she never, ever imposed. Truly, one of the most meaningful parts of our wedding will be the photos Anne Staveley took. She captured our wedding and made it more beautiful through her lens. I wept as I looked through her photos of our special day; she'd seen the beauty in everything. She took the time to photograph each couple and family , and she was patient with my many particularities. Do yourself a favor: book Anne Staveley way in advance. You won't regret it.
