It is great for children and parents will be hard spent to get their kids out without being convinced to buy something. The store specializes in toys that don't use batteries as they would rather kids make the sounds and use their imaginations. I reckon this is a really cool philosophy for a toyshop to have and I wish I were young enough to put their toys to good use. Perhaps my favourite items they sell are the Doll Houses. They are so elaborate and detailed with everything from carpeted staircases to windowsills and architraves. They are absolutely gorgeous. They are open every single day of the year from 10am to 5pm with the exception of Christmas day and the staff are always very welcoming. They accept cash, eftpos and visa and have the option of lay-by (which is just as well because some toys are pretty expensive)! Overall they are really fun stores that have been built with a lot of love and they really stand out from the little rooms full of plastic that are our modern toy stores. It's a fantastic little haven for the young and the old.

It is absolutely packed with toys of every description- on their shelves, hanging from their ceiling, free standing on their floor- we spent a fair time just admiring every single product. They specialise in wooden toys for all ages, from the past era of Pinocchio- with a range of sized marionettes in the ceiling, every kind of hand puppet imaginable, spinning tops and wooden puzzles. They also have every other toy under the sun: dolls, their houses and accessories, dress up costumes, various puppets (animals, stage, fantasy, people etc), those for construction, games, soft toys, old school favourites, role play sets, books, figurines, musical instruments as well as mobiles, rock, roll & ride toys for the very young. Our teaching friends had a real good time looking at the potential ideas for their classroom. Walked out smiling just like they said I would. Definitely come in and have a look around this charming store with its unique collection of toys.

An excellent toy clearance warehouse…read more This place is fantastic, from their great layout to their abundant stock of every kind of toy imaginable, from current to past season stock at heavily discount prices. The large warehouse is stocked to the roof along its walls with everything from baby toys to puzzles and board games to play gym slides. Many trestle tables and dump bins fill the floor. There is so much to look at and all with handy price stickers attached to the items. The store has an indoor trolley rack (you will need a trolley) and there is enough room to push a stroller around. The warehouse isn't heated, except for what looks like an airplane engine, blowing blue fire towards the cashier. Which is good for them, because it feels almost colder inside the building that out. Do not underestimate the vastness of this place, you could easily spend an hour here, so maybe rug up? All in all, this is an excellent store. I love it and I couldn't find fault if I tried. Just the best assortment of toys, so long as you aren't looking for the newest range (although sometimes they are here too, hard to guess). A godsend for busy parents, because it's all in one place and well laid out and well priced. Check it out, you will not be disappointed...(Game of Thrones Monopoly, come on, who doesn't want that!!!??)

They knowingly sell products that are faulty. When I went back to let them know that something I…read morehad bought was faulty their response was that other customers had told them but that they continued to sell them because "some are, some aren't". They said that they often have other products that are faulty and that they can't open every box to test them all. If they know that something they are selling is faulty or potentially faulty then it is against consumer law to continue to sell it without informing the customer of this risk. This is a shell organisation without any proper management to contact. Avoid them at all costs.

The Little Shop of Miniatures on Olinda-Monbulk road is absolutely adorable. It is every little…read moregirls dream with magnificent dollhouses and ranges of furniture to decorate them with. It even had a section with dolls to live in the dollhouses - this place has everything! From dollhouses complete with staircases and rooftop gardens to bare walled houses that need painting and decorating by their new owner, the shop has an option for everyone. The dollhouses can be bought assembled or in a kit to be built at home. They cost around $400, which is not much when you see how much effort has gone into them. The tiny furniture was just divine. The range incorporated all sorts of styles to suit any décor. Chairs start at around $8 a piece and prices move upwards from there. Room kits are available for around $60, which give you all the pieces of furniture you need for a bathroom, bedroom, living room... My favourite item was a little ceramic cups and saucers set complete with a teapot. It was only $12 - a real bargain. The service in here was fabulous and the owner was quite happy to have a chat. She was still setting up the store when I went there and I was impressed that she made time for me when she was quite obviously very busy unpacking stock and putting it on display. I wish this store had been around when I was little and had a dollhouse. It was so remarkable to see such detailed little items and I am very jealous of the little girls who will get to enjoy this furniture in their playtime. Make sure you check it out.

Obviously it would sell Sams (we ignored the apostrophe), things to help your Sam grow, things to train your Sam, dress ups for your Sam, toys, food and other Sam related equipment. We figured Sams probably came freeze-dried (a bit like sea monkeys) which explained why there could be a whole warehouse dedicated to them. I actually tried not to go in for a long time, because I didn't want to shatter the dream. This Sam's Warehouse (I've since discovered there are others) is a bit different to the rest. Imagine your local Reject Shop. Now, imagine it 3 times the size. Now, imagine it sells furniture and (probably) motorised scooters. You're there. No Sams though, pity.
