We are 100% impressed…read more I called 2 other roofing companies and the quotes were just ridiculous. For the size of home and the explanation of needing upgraded materials or shingles to justify the $20k quotes. We called Wilkinson, got a quick quote, help picking out shingles, and it was scheduled on Friday for the following Monday. Talk about a miracle!! This was a Last minute roof, in Nov. on my son's house for sale. To say it was an excellent customer service experience is an understatement. Esther & Josh are very good with communication; and easy to get in contact with! My husband also got on the roof during tear off to see what all they were replacing; as we knew a couple of spots needed addressed. Josh checked the concerned areas and we were reassured that it would all be done. Major relief. The Crew arrived Monday about 7a and done that day. Clean up was also great. Estimate and final bill, right on the dollar. Highly recommend!

The fireplace we were told was propane was never hooked up, it had been a wood burning once upon a time and needed major repairs. In the basement they went to look at wood burning stove. When they were done they gave me the bad news that the wood burning stove had a fire in the chimney and needed replaced to keep from another from starting. They gave me a big discount on the rate quoted to me to have them come out. Totally unexpected these when companies don't take advantage of you! I'm waiting for a quote from them on new chimney.

Had a very mixed experience with this contractor. He responded quickly when asked to quote, and…read morethen was able to schedule and do the work in short order...all good. He steered me away from asphalt, and to a less expensive asphalt millings product. I decided to give that a try, and gave him the green light. He did the work, and as he was finishing up his wife called and said it was ready, and wanted to arrange payment. I told her I'd be there in three minutes. I got there, and inspected the job...again, good. Then came the payment fiasco. On his truck he flys Visa / Mastercard stickers, indicating that he accepts CC. When his wife asked me for a check I told her that a CC would be better for (points, warranty...21st century - who carrys checks?) Mind you, I was there to pay in 3 minutes, while many contractors wait 30 days or more for payment. I was doing the right thing by paying on the spot...he didn't apparently value that. Well that was the end of the positive experience. She told me George would have to do that, and that there'd be the dreaded extra fee. I told her that the two ways to handle fee were for either the vendor to eat that charge, or the customer. Apparently that was offensive, and George came unglued...aggressive stance, yelling, finger in your face...sheesh all that over abt $40 dollar (2.x % x $1600). I really didn't have a big problem paying the fee, but the way both he and his wife approached it was EXTRAORDINAIRLY UNPROFFESIONAL. Sad, because I had several other larger jobs I was going to use him on, but...maybe not. Then when I wrote the check they became very upset when I put the company name on the check...hmm, makes me wonder abt cash businesses and taxes... A terrible end to the experience. George Limerick Asphalt Paving, an adequate craftsman, but a very unprofessional businessman. You might try the other George asphalt guy, or the other multiple choices out there. Shades slice seeding was brought up during a few of these landscape visits so we gave them a call. Cory met us at our house to discuss with us our options. He had so much knowledge and explained all our options to us, he was very detailed and straight forward. We went ahead and did an entire back lawn re-do. They killed what was there, brought in dirt, started treating the soil and slice seeded us. We are two weeks in to the slice seeding and I never thought I could be this excited to see grass. We finally got the yard we wanted, at a very comparable price to other options. Cory and his team took the time to do the job right the first time and not just fast, you can absolutely tell they all take pride in their work, and my new lawn shows that.

The fertilization treatments started quickly but I hadn't heard anything new about the landscaping project so I began calling/leaving messages weekly in April. By late May I was told the owner was stopping by to refamiliarize himself with the project. I know last year was busy so I waited a few more weeks. After not hearing anything by late June I called 2 more times-more promises on the phone but nothing ever happened. If I'd been told they couldn't do the project or I was just forgotten about I still would have had time to schedule someone to do the work before the season ended. It was a very important project to coincide with some other major improvements I was making at the time. While the fertilization service was fine my overall experience was a huge letdown made worse by the non-responses and broken promises to get back with me. I hate to write a bad review but if someone would have warned me the trouble I'd have to go to just to be lead on like this I would never have hired this company. It's now 2018 and I get an invoice that states service automatically continues unless I request it to end (not a big deal, I'm sure this is normal). So I email them to end service and wait a week-no response. Later I call and am assured a confirmation will be emailed. As I type this it's been 3 full weeks and still no confirmation-the pattern continues...
