Hi there...it was my first squash lesson whatsoever and I did enjoy it greatly...I was not sure…read morewhat to expect but I did my 2 hours on the courts and was hitting the ball as much as I could , practising my forehand and backhand for better chances to win. The staff was very helpful and attentive. There is also hotel in there and many useful facilities: you can get rackets and there is sauna but only on the male site ... Public gym area is well equipped and with air con. Lockers are available to leave your staff and you can change in changing rooms before hitting the courts ;) Fridges with drinks too ... You might visit and get your fitness level up high :) P.S. I locked my phone in the locker so pics maybe next time...

Unless you are looking to specifically be within the "old town" area, this location is right in the middle of things! Short or reasonable walking distance to so many things. Very good. A bit awkward with how rooms were situated though out, but very good, nonetheless. Technically, it seems this is an athletic club, in a building that I believe used to be a theater. Somehow, without knowing the full history, there were plenty of rooms either built into this space or already there, and this is how they get the hotel aspect of it to function. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was acceptable, and seemed very typical of what the Polish breakfast seems to entail. Room was reasonable. Obviously, the exercise/sport/health/wellness component was fantastic. But, again, you are probably staying here for the location. We even had a rental car and found we were able to manage parking for it without ridiculous difficulty.

We've already tried three different places to play volleyball and among them this one is the worst. They have a very large hall which may be divided into three fields. Unfortunately only the middle one is more or less suitable, the others have a very frustrating fence near the wall, so you have to spend a lot of time to get the ball out if it hits there. The chance to get middle field is low. The hall is organized in a stupid way and if there are also basketball players they always need both their field and the middle one. And even if you get one another problem rises: the lamps hang very low, the ball hits them often and it really spoils the game. The bright side is that the variety of available games is large, for example, they have a table for ping-pong which is quite rare in Kraków. In general the place Is cheap, the cost of a 1.5 hour game is around 10 pln. But anyway I would consider this place only if there are no other options.

Around half of the time you are trying to get free. To do that both sub-teams have to interact a lot cause the puzzles from both sides are intertwined, you need to get stuff from another team to solve yours puzzle and vice versa. You can barely reach your other teammates, so if you drop something on the floor - you lose (well, you can get off your boot and use it as a hook to get the item back ;). The rest of the game is more or less straightforward, I do not remember any specific details. The room "Counter-Terrorists" is a classical "defuse the bomb to get free". What I liked here is that they are using some interesting technologies like reacting to a specific sound. Also there was an astounding trick with Pepsi, it's genius, I have no idea how was it possible to come up with something like this. There was also a funny moment when you have to do something with an old mobile phone, you know, the one with buttons and other stuff, it was challenging to refresh the mind of how to use it :D Comparing to other rooms, this one is a breath of fresh air, I'm looking forward for the third room (which won't happen soon, unfortunately :( )

In the summer it's a nice place to stop for a while on the way to somewhere else. Quite often it plays host to various themed markets. Invariably the markets all take the same format. A covered stage is erected at one end and various traditional music performers/dancers will do their thing. The rest of the square then usually has various stools selling local produce (such as cheeses or pieorogi) as well as hot food to eat and and cold beer. The Carrefour Express on Sienna is definitely worth a visit for what is quite possibly the best selection of ciders in the whole of Kraków :)

You can find all kinds of hidden sights just by walking around it. We actually walked through it every day during our stay. There are memorial statues, playgrounds, and water features throughout the park. Although, like any city park, you will see someone passed out drunk or performing some kind of bodily function in front of you. It's an eye full. But hey, other than that it was a very relaxing walk under the shaded trees of this beautiful park. You'll have to pass through it at some point so you might as well enjoy it.

But when I do decide to do my workout here I plan ahead of time to avoid the rush hours when the place is so full that I feel everyone is watching every move I make, or more importantly I can barely breathe from the claustrophobia and increased air humidity that comes with the sweat and tears being produced around me. Well. Sorry. Exaggeration noted. Apologies...! Maybe this is only my poor judgment coming through. There really isn't enough room for individual exercise though. Unless one of the exercise rooms don't have classes going on all you can do is cardio and use the weights. If the stretching area was wider this would solve everything but there simply is no room for expanding it as it is in a corner surrounded by cardio machines. Other than this detail about limited space that I keep obsessing about I guess a gym is a gym in the end. The staff is helpful, though I have heard rumours about the strict personal trainers... which could be a good thing depending on what you're looking after! Also a membership at this gym only is obviously much cheaper than a combined Pure membership (less than 100 zl a month I believe). As with Pure Kazimierz it always looks clean and fresh with a very welcoming reception area.

I am not familiar with the instructors and other yogis here because we were instructed by a fellow schoolmate. It's a dark but warm and calm basement off the Karmelicka road and can be a little hard to find. The manager speaks English and invites anyone to join the open ashtanga yoga classes for a small fee per session. While I have not attended any of these myself I have been told they are worth going to! Mats are available so all you need is some loose clothing. I suggest taking a look at their website and maybe even calling to ask more about the classes; the manager (Marek I believe) is very approachable! There were no lockers at the time when I used to go so I'd suggest you keep valuables to a minimum as you leave coats etc just outside the room where the practice takes place.

There is also a small room with gym area only for women, which is a very comfortable thing. I atttend there zumba classes - the instructor is great, the room for the classes is very bright and with well working a/c (which is something that not all the fitness clubs have ;)) Everything is modern and good quality. The bad thing is that beacuse of the location in the strict center there is always a looot of people during the classes. I also suffer from a bit too tiny changing room with not enough places to seat. It's not fun to have to change clothes standing, especially after an intense workout.
