Called at 4:50, was told they would be here by 5 and they couldn't put it as a missed pick up because a truck was enroute. At 4:59 I was hung up on by that same person after requesting a supervisor. I just want republic to do their job and pick up my trash. This company is a joke.

Freedom metals is WAY less chaotic and is honest with their metal identification unlike River Metals, and looser sanctions on commercial vehicles (I work for a telecom contractor so there's often additional regulations on businesses.) I drop off my scrap, I get cash just a few minutes later. Not a bad business model. The employees are polite as log as you're not an asshole to them, they're just trying to do their job. My only qualm is the location, it's not exactly the nicest neighborhood in town. Lock your car and don't wear nice clothes.
