Upon completing the forms, digitally with digital signature , as the forms instructed. Upon emailing the completed forms, Jack called me to tell me "you need to do better" and argued with me on the digital signature provided, again as the form instructed. I was then instructed that the forms needed to be filled out in pen and ink, scanned and emailed. I was also instructed that the Broward Country release form needed to be sent to the address at the bottom of that from. Again, I complied with Jack's request. Jack then called me to yell at me for sending the form to Broward when my father was not yet deceased, which he already knew from our previous conversations. He then proceeded to accuse me of lying that I told him that my father was here and then there, deceased and then not deceased. The best party of my experince with this company and man came when he said they would refuse their serices to me and my family./ Beware as this man and the organization, he gets confused easily and then attempts to berate belittle and blame you when you follow his instructions.

My first stop was Wilcox Funeral Home. I was very impressed with Carolyn's patience and helpful nature. I asked many questions and also asked the same questions a number of times because my attention and focus was definitely limited. The Wilcox prices were reasonable. I did find a couple of cheaper options and some more expensive choices. The reason why I choose to go with Wilcox is I felt I could trust Carolyn to take good care of me and my family during this unfortunate situation. I ended up calling her a handful of times before making a final decision, as I was trying to figure out what would be best. There was never any pressure, just helpful advice and patience. I chose to entrust Carolyn to make everything go as smoothly as possible and she really delivered. As a matter of fact, I am deeply grateful for how much Carolyn taught me through this process. I learned a lot. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows what she's doing. Carolyn was on top of things--always helpful, reliable, patient, and very communicative with me. Carolyn helped me with getting a minor non-citizen family member into the country to attend the funeral on very short notice which was very important to us. She also was able to set up the honor guards ceremony and order a sentimental piece of jewelry as a gift in time for the funeral day. There's many little details I would not have thought to do or knew how to do that Carolyn took care of. She also presented my family and I with a personal touching surprise on the day of the service. I truly believe our event would not have turned out as special if I had went somewhere else. Her personal touches meant so much. Carolyn was god-sent. I highly recommend contacting Carolyn at Wilcox funeral home if you want the best service and care when you find yourself in a unwanted situation where you are faced with making funeral arrangements. Thank you so much Carolyn for taking such good care of me and my family during this difficult time. We truly appreciate you.

However, when returning for the unveiling, it all went downhill. I'm talking about one man in the office and one man of the grounds crew driving the golf cart. When we arrived, it was raining, I went inside to make sure that our previously made arrangements with Courtney were being followed. A tent and chairs were requested. The chairs were there completely filled with water, like tiny swimming pools. The tent was nowhere to be seen. I asked the man in the office if we could please have our tent because it was raining, he replied "there is an overhang, unless the rain is driving sideways you will be fine." I did tell him the name of the person we were here for, and he should have known that there is no overhang where we were sitting. Therefore, we would not be protected. We went outside to make sure that what I had said was true. Lo and behold, there is no overhang. There is one on the side of the mausoleums, not where we were. In any case, a man comes by, a supervisor I assume, driving a golf cart with crew members walking along with him. I went over and said, "excuse me, sir, do you have any towels we might use to wipe off the chairs?" He looked at me blankly and replied "we don't have any towels." He then proceeded to throw a dirty, small yellow rag at me. As you can imagine, at an unveiling, for my family member, I was not in the mood. I walked quietly to the seats to wipe them off, where I discovered the mini swimming pools. There was a kindly looking crewmember near me, I asked him if he had any towels for me. He very nicely took the rag from my hand, produced his own as well, and proceeded to wipe all the chairs off. At least there's one crewmember that looks kindly upon people in their sadness. These may seem to be small or petty indiscretions by the staff. The inconsiderate office manager, the rude crew supervisor, the incompetent person who handled the unveiling reservation. I can assure you if you were burying a family member you would not be in the mood for this nonsense either.
