My youngest son danced at DU for 8 years until he was accepted into ont of the top 15 ballet academies in the nation, which was ALSO only possible because of his time at DU. I am so happy with everything my children learned while taining at Dance Unlimited. Yes, dance and technique are important, but they both also learned how to be a contributing part of a group/team and developed remarkabe confidence through dance. The DU teachers and staff are incredibly talented and supportive, and the environment is both professional, yet still a big family. They offer both recreational classes as well as award-winning competitive teams. Free first class to see if you like it! I know you will!!

Since acquiring another dance academy, over an hour away, the once family-like environment has…read morebecome obsolete. The energy, life, and quality just isn't there anymore. A year ago, we were thrilled to be part of the program. Now, instruction, at best, is only mediocre. Starting Christmas show dances with less than a month of practice resulted in exactly what one would expect. Next time, I'll just make a donation with my money. I love that our daughter has made friends, but between the drive (something we were happy to do for the right program and chose to do so five days/wk) and that we *also* want tuition to go toward dance instruction...we just no longer see its value there. If we weren't moving out of town, we would look elsewhere and it breaks our heart that the program fell so far. I hope things settle in at the Parker location soon, there are other options out there in the meantime.

Players stared to be more flexible and stronger with every practice. I believe this translated to better on-ice flexibility and fewer injuries. Learning each dance taught them memory skills that helped them quickly learn new plays on the ice. The environment was very positive. I would highly recommend this eexperience for any sports team.

Since y'all deleted my review on google I thought I should post on here and give more information…read moremy sister has given me! Absolutely disgusting experience. My sister joined this studio believing it was a safe, Christian environment, but instead she was manipulated by the owners' son (25) shortly after she turned 18. He continued pursuing teenage girls at the studio while leadership ignored the behavior and protected him instead of the students. When my sister finally spoke up, he was allowed to stay at the studio while the women and girls involved were reprimanded/fired. She tried showing information that he assumed she was 17 at the time, but the owner (name is posted on this page) took no time to shut her down and refused to see any proof. Even though my sister was of age, she had only been 18 for less than a month, and even as a legal adult he should not have been engaging with her as he was 7 years older than her and knew better. Watching her lose what she thought was her safe place has been heartbreaking.Parents need to be extremely careful about who they trust around their daughters. I suggest finding a studio that does not let such disgusting behavior happen around or to your kids and teens. This studio cares more about protecting their image and family than protecting the young women attending their classes. In the end, I think J&J has a lot they need to improve, like keeping their son away from young women and teens!

The young male instructor was ok and seemed shy to talk to a newcomer. It was ok, but I could not say I liked the place because their installation in the classroom for students is pretty decent. For example, they do not install a whole mirror to cover the side of the wall, so students can not see how they are dancing. Learning new movements of hip-hop dance is important, but also checking oneself is important with the body's lines while dancing. Also, the class was dirty and not organized as if being in a big garage. For this reason, I did not go back to the place to register Hip-pop class and started looking for other places, and I found an online class for myself.
