Today is their last day of the season, so my family and I decided to kick off fall with a end of summer treat. I ordered a pint of M&M ice cream, and ended up getting the last that they had. Talk about good timing! I took mine to enjoy later at home. Before leaving I got to check out the cute barnyard animals they have! Adorable! When I got home I dug in. Oh my god the ice cream is so good! One of the best I've had in a very long time! Fully recommend stopping in when they open again next season! On a side note, I love visiting this place because my Grandpa went to school in this building in the 1920s and 1930s!

When I went, my boyfriend and I were the only customers there. They offered a good variety of ice cream flavors but nothing that you couldn't find at any nearby shops. There was only one employee working that I could see, but she was very nice and was helpful when it came to answering any questions. My one complaint would be the sundae bowls. My boyfriend got a banana split and ended up wearing a good amount of it. The plastic was just very flimsy and it was too short in height so ice cream and toppings easily pooled out of it.

I sat stage right, at table 311 and had a clear view even though it's labels as partial obstructed. The two columns on that side of the room are thin and aren't anything to worry about. I walked the whole venue and the only area where views are truly obstructed are inside the bar area, especially at the ends of the bar. The sound was great. The crowd was engaged but respectful. The food, drinks and service were all top notch as well. If someone you like is playing here, then you're in luck.

The BT ALC Big Band lit up the room with an incredible blend of big band jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop, and the special guest, Nephrok!, brought amazing energy and personality to the stage. Jimmy's offered two great options for the night: a first-floor dinner-and-a-show package, and a third-floor countdown experience with a midnight champagne toast. The atmosphere was festive without feeling crowded, the sound was crystal clear, and the whole evening felt really well organized. Nephrok and the BT ALC Big Band were both outstanding -- tight, lively, and a blast to watch. Altogether, it was one of those nights you don't forget. Jimmy's continues to be one of the best live music venues around.

Responsive to emails and work with you 100% to ensure an incredible wedding experience. The space can accommodate a nice group inside and outside. Our plan was to have an outdoor cocktail hour and ceremony followed by indoor cake and dancing in the barn. They worked with us and our mutltiple visits to ensure the perfect location for photos and sunset. Unfortunetly, it rained all day and we were in the barn for everything, which was actually perfect. Opening the double doors to overlook the gardens with the rain in the backgroup was beautiful. They offer parking across the street. They have a room for the wedding party connected to their home. A portapotty trailer, which was great. Caters had access it the barn offered a pre space and a bar area. If it is not raining, there is room for a tent, though we wanted a Bridgerton-esque feel with string quartet and all. But the barn was perfect, clean and our guest loved it. Also, as a same sex couple, they were so great. Highly recommended.

The grounds are beautiful, with colorful gardens, a barn and a sweeping lawn area surrounded by woods. The lawn has seating areas, a treehouse and easily accommodated our mobile bar, cocktail tables and a tent for dining. The barn has a bar, a balcony with couches, seating along the wall and room for more cocktail tables. We had a 7-piece band and 125 guests and there was plenty of room for dancing. The barn is decorated by the owners with white string lights and flowy white drapes, which made it festive. There is a firepit area, prepared by the owner which our guests used when they wanted a break from the music. It was also a huge plus to have access to the venue for 3 days and to be provided with 2 rooms and a restroom in the house for the bridal party to get ready. Charlie and Laura were wonderful to with. They are super responsive, reliable and personable. I cannot say enough about Josias River Farm and highly recommend it as a wedding venue!
