I had rented from them several times in the past, and had pretty good experiences. But recently I…read morerented a piece of equipment from them and when I returned it, I noticed a week later a charge for an additional $265. I questioned them on it and they said I went over the hours on the machine by two hours even though I have pictures of the time when I got it and send it back and it was just a little over an hour and they charged me for 2 hrs so thats how they justified the first $100. but, when I rented it, they never told me that I would be responsible for fuel and that if I didn't fill it up before returning it, they would charge me almost 2 times the going rate for diesel fuel. so another $165 for 22 gallons of diesel so $7.50 a gallon. But it gets worse. When I rented it, I told them I had not used the attachment that I was renting and asked if the person was going to be able to give me direction. They delivered it, he gave me some directions that were wrong, so I assumed that one of the functions was not working, which is why it took me so much longer to do the work. When I returned it, they claimed it was fine and I should've called them and they could have helped me figure out the issue. But again, nobody told me there was a hotline. I could call on memorial day weekend. I assumed since their shop wasn't open, I was on my own. I called to politely discuss it, because I was hoping we could at least split the difference or at least have a fair price on the fuel, and essentially they told me to pound sand. Needless to say, I'll never rent from Cardinal again.

Despite all the positive reviews recommending this company with cleaning their carpets, I wouldn't even trust them to complete a simple task such as that. This company is not a true remediation and restoration company and the owner will not take ownership when things go sideways during the clean-up process. The owners workers couldn't even close up a barrier correctly. Save yourself the headache, unnecessary stress, deceitfulness and financial burden of relying on this company to perform first responder remediation work as they do not know what they are doing. Go with a real remediation company such as Servpro instead.
