This was some of the best gelato I had while in Italy! The service was quick and staff did their best to speak English.

This is definitely an excellent stop for some gelato! There are dozens of flavors to choose from and you can even sample them before you decide what you exactly want. I had a regular cup of mango and coconut gelato with some whip cream on top. The flavors for both were so rich and fresh! Your taste buds will most definitely thank you. Nothing tasted fake from these two flavors and that goes for the other flavors they have here. I went the more fruity route and was not disappointed. If you want a sweeter flavor, you cannot go wrong. Just try a flavor out! The place is clean, casual, and comfortable. There is also a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy your gelato in the sun. The staff are so nice and respectful. Even if you do not speak Italian, you can get by with English as the staff can understand a little. Fresh, rich, and tasty gelato is definitely at Gelatario! Spoil yourself here and even have a sweet time with friends or family. read more

Gelatario - Mango and coconut gelato - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Rome, RM

This was the best tasting and certainly the best value for gelato in all of our 5 days in Rome! We had gelato each day we were in Rome. Some places based on Yelp, some random stops, and this one was recommended to me by a local. Well let me tell you, it was excellent! The selection is really good. They've got at least 20 flavours. Although they don't have all their flavours exposed for show, with fruits and biscuits and fancy stuff in the display, this is the real deal. We ordered a small. You get three flavours. We thought it was a pretty good size for two of us to share. We went to pay. It was only €1.70!!! After we were done, we ordered a second because we needed to try more flavours! We had Biscotto di Roma, ricotta stregata, arachide matta, pistachio, straciatella, and gelataria flavours! We enjoyed them ALL!!! Of course, this location is certainly nowhere near the touristy areas. However, if you find yourself nearby for whatever reason, make a stop. I know I'm going back tomorrow for more before I get on the train! read more

Not the best ice cream I've had in Rome. I had chocolate and zabaione and both were less creamy and more watery, especially the chocolate. I went there especially based on the reviews here and I was very disappointed. I much preferred the others I tried. My particular favourite was RivaReno on Magna Grecia (San Giovanni metro station). read more

This is one of the best gelato places we have been to in our one month travel around Italy. They are in a very residential neighborhood, no tourists anywhere in the area, and we would not have stumble upon this place had we not stopped off at Ponte Lungo, to transfer to the FL1 light rail at Roma Toscana. It was dinner time so we stopped nearby and wanted to end the last day of our trip with a gelato! They had a nice local crowd present, always a good sign. There were over 25 flavors and they had an allergy list. 3 heaping flavors for 2euros was a steal! The flavors were out of this world! I had mango, peach and cherry...real bits of fruit, not too sweet just perfect, smooth and light, felt like we were eating the fruit-it was so good. Another in our party got the chocolate, Madagascar vanilla and crema, which they said was to die for! Another had two fruit bars-strawberry and lemon-one in each hand to keep her occupied. They had cakes, fruit and gelato bars. Wished we had more time to try them all! Locals were buying them by the styrofoam buckets to take away! Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. We ended our last night in Italy on a high note! read more
