Today was a disaster. We waited 45 minutes for our reservation, and while I was checking on our table several people were leaving and closing out their drink tabs. They had been sat 2 hours earlier and never got their food. I asked the front desk what the wait would be for our food and he acknowledged that the kitchen is extremely backed up and it would be a while. We decided that a 2+ hour wait for food wasn't for us and we left. I get that it is Mother's day, but don't take the reservation if you don't intend to provide a table and food in a reasonable timeframe. It killed the Mother's day vibe. read more

Worst experience ever. We left after two hours... no food in sight. We paid for our drinks before we left. We had to stop and get fast food because we were starving. They didn't even send anyone over to communicate with us. They did mention to us in the beginning that the kitchen was backed up but they never brought silverware, Napkins, chips Or water to the table without us nagging and they rarely checked in On us. So, first time at the "Taps" location. Sat at the bar. Bar staff caters to the wait staff. Makes bar customers wait. My food arrived like 10 minutes before my husband's food arrived. So we did not eat at the same time. I ordered nachos and was not given utensils. A fork is always nice so your hands don't get so dirty. There was a bar staff cutting pineapple. He waited on people and adjusted his ear piece and went back to cutting pineapple without ever washing his hands. No salt and pepper shakers. And lastly, one roll of sushi cost $28.00 - really?? If I could rate my experience 0 stars I would. My husband and I go to Tempo cantina EVERY Valentines Day, we go for the experience and the amazing food and overall atmosphere of the restaurant. We look forward to the pork belly bites and the flights of drinks the carne asada plate and birria tacos and many more. When we arrived we were told it was a 20 minute wait not bad at all. Once we were seated we noticed 1 menu the $150 fixed menu NOT including drinks. We asked if we can get the open menu and were told that this was all they were serving and that it was worth it. We ordered 2 mojitos which were nothing but club soda and mint.(granted no one knows how to make mojitos) We ordered for our appetizer the Potstickers which were basic. Then we waited over 40 mins to an HOUR (mind you there is no long wait time and there were plenty of open seats at the time) for our starter and entree. The starter was a garlic shrimp soup with 3 shrimps only in a kids bowl and 1/2 a slice of bread cut in 3's. I also wanted to try their sushi on the side since theyre "known" for their sushi & me thinking the surf and turf would be huge and when the sushi arrived it was so basic. The sushi at Sams club is better. The entree was a surf & turf: 1 thin cut slice no seasoning served and with 3 cut claws served in a clam sauce all served COLD! and for dessert the waiter brought out both desserts possibly because of how long we waited and everyone else's comments as well. Food take for ever, I wrote a review and they removed it from their website. We have more interaction with the bus boys then our own server. We had reservation and they still took 30min. A couple of weeks back, I visited Temple geisha, I had a reservation for 7:00 p.m. There was another lady checking in ahead of me, and after she was done, I tried to check in too. However, the receptionist hostess didn't acknowledge me for at least 10 minutes. I wasn't sure what she was up to, so I just waited patiently for her to notice me. Eventually, I decided to take a seat. When she finally made eye contact, she asked if I needed help, but she mistakenly thought I was with the lady who checked in before me, even though I was inside and she was outside. After that, I was seated at a booth with really nice decor. It was a bit busy and a little hot; I couldn't tell if the AC was broken. They seemed to be short-staffed because after I sat down, nobody came to check on me for another 15 to 20 minutes while I waited for my party to arrive. When they finally got there, we all placed our orders, but the food came out at different times for each of us. Overall, I spent about two and a half hours there. I ordered the ceviche tostada, which was super tasty, and my friend had the shrimp cocktail. The food was really good! At the end of the night, after I paid, I asked for a receipt but didn't get one. So, I went to the front desk to request a copy since my waiter hadn't returned, and I was waiting for my Uber. Several staff members struggled to print the receipt, and I finally had to mention that I needed to leave or my Uber would leave without me. A manager came over and managed to reprint the receipt for me for expense reimbursement. I think they just opened recently and are still figuring things out, especially with staffing. The service could definitely improve, but the food was great and the restaurant is beautiful. If they could just hire more staff, it would be an awesome experience. read more

We came here from out of town and was very surprised by the randomness of the menu, but we were not disappointed! Our server, Mia, was AMAZING! She was so kind, silly, very accommodating and explained the confusing menu to us so well. She suggested some great items to us - we loved the pork belly and the sushi geisha appetizer. Our group tried all of the different old fashioned cocktails- I got the Japanese whiskey one and I thought it was the best one! And I usually am an old fashioned old fashioned type of gal.
