I already had a replacement toilet ready for the downstairs bathroom. The repair guy checked the toilet and the surrounding floor. He patched the floor to make it stable for now as he switched in the toilet I already bought. He used a mask. He kept the trash in a limited area so it was disposed of easily afterwards. The new toilet works much better than the old one. The repair guy and I went to the store and got a second toilet for downstairs. He was able to install that one too. That one works fine too.

Scott was one of very few roofers who responded to our calls, gave us the best quote, and pushed hard to get a big job done (it's a ranch house with a lot of roof) while the weather held. What really sold us on APR, though, was how obviously Scott knows what he's doing and how meticulously he applies his knowledge to his work. He knew all the pros, cons, and technical characteristics of the materials we considered, diagnosed problems we didn't know were there, worked with us to keep the costs down, and was open and honest in all his dealings with us. And - oh, yeah - the roof looks great. We have been in our house for over forty years and the gravity of this problem was new. Kyle came to our house almost immediately and was able to quickly diagnose the cause of the flooding and came up with possible solutions to the problem. We found him to be an excellent partner to deal with. He was concerned with keeping the cost of the project reasonable and not wasting money on things that were not necessary. Kyle seems to have the skills of a teacher because he always took the time to explain what he was going to do and why. From the beginning of the project to the end he would regroup with is to keep us apprised of progress. When the jib was finished he came back on at least three occasions to make sure everything was going well. Kyle and his crew always seemed to be motivated in the pursuit of excellence in their work. Twice in two weeks they were totally overrun in heavy rain; I suffered two floods of 6"+ of muddy silty water in my basement in less than two weeks apart. I went crazy cleaning this up twice!, and then the real fear of "when would it happen again?". These deluge rains seem more frequent and dangerous. Worst in memory per the locals around here. I decided to do a new drainage solution after talking with DKS Contracting. Needed something fast, and they were quick to jump on this task and created a nice impression from initial discussions. At project completion, my impression is: Kyle is unique. There are few contractors that have his demeanor. Its great and rare! He gets how traumatic this kind of issue is. He's professional about the task and consultation. He sizes up the problem, makes a plan, and then gets it done. The quick project result exceeded my expectations. They banged this thing OUT.
