To set the story, my wife and I broke down on I-10 East bound outside of Sonoma TX. We were searching for someone that could repair our RAM 2500. We had a 36 foot 5th wheel that our RAM was towing. Erica, Roy's daughter, Roy, Preston, and Roy Jr. made us feel welcome. Erica made every effort possible to help us with getting a tow, and finding somewhere to put the RV while we were being repaired and was concerned with getting my wife and I safely off I-10 and assure us that they can get us back on the road as quickly as possible. I've been deer hunting for 48 years and having deer processed. This was my first experience with…read morethis processor. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had! The order was not only wrong, but I only received a 1/4 to 1/3 of the meat I should have. The buck I shot was the biggest bodied whitetail I have ever shot, and it dressed out at 137 lbs. (weighed on my scales and confirmed at this processor). My order has been the same for the last 35 years plus. I ordered backstraps butterflied, I received 4 small pks with 3 chops in each at less than 1/2 lb. I received 8 summer sausage and 8 Links that totaled 13 lbs. The rest was to have been in Jerky - I received two 3 lbs packets. What I didn't order was 7 packages of hamburger meat at 1/2 lbs per package and 10 deer snack sticks. All in all, I came away with 28.5 lbs of meat. This is almost half of what I have received previously from other processor with smaller deer. For all this I spent $451.50 - the most I have ever paid to have any animal processed. Too make matters worse, I told them I was doing a shoulder mount. They trimmed it for a euro mount. When I called the owner and advised him of the mistake I was told very bluntly, there wasn't a mistake, this is what was written down. He claimed the deer was smaller and the meat more. I offered to send him pictures and bring the 3 brown bags the meat was in back to him. He declined, saying that was what was written down. I told him I would not be back and definitely wouldn't refer anyone to him. He said he had enough regular customers and doesn't need any new ones. Great example of customer service. I got screwed dealing with this company - you will too. Attached are pics of what I received.

They are…read moreso good I would de-bone my Mule Deer in Nevada, send the frozen meat to them to make into their fabulous smoked sausage. Did that for 7 years before moving back to Texas. Still take all my Archer County deer down there.
