First off, the manager greeted me in Spanish. Sorry, but we're in the USA, not Mexico (and I'm Hispanic). Very rude and negative attitude when I questioned why it would take nine days to clear a check that I wanted to open the account with. When I mentioned that a competitor bank would clear the check in three days, she told me that I should go with that bank then. My entire experience, with first a teller, and then the duty manager was negative, and was not customer service friendly at all. Instead of offering solutions, I was told to bank with a competitor. I should say that several years ago, I tried to open a commercial account with a different branch of First Convenience and was denied a commercial account because my business presented a liability to them. I'm a used car dealer and only deal in cash with no bank financing, so where's the liability? First Convenience needs to properly train their people on good customer service and product knowledge. I can't speak for their personal checking accounts, but if you're trying to open a commercial account, stay away. One star given only because you can't give zero stars.

After having spent 27 years of my working career within the banking industry I find Wells Fargo to…read morebe a decent bank, not great, but acceptable for today's standards. They seem to have made good progress from their issue in prior years. The branch's do not pressure you into more products and their customer service is good. I do wish they had a location on the East side. Their is an ATM but their are times that you need to go into the branch. I have had one issue with them but generally speaking the representative's handle themselves well.
