During mediation, Brian was distracted, answering emails and even stepping away to take a call. I had to track him down while the mediator waited--yet I was still billed for that time. There were also repeated mistakes in my paperwork, including the wrong address, vehicle, and child support amount. I never saw a draft of the final decree for nearly two months. After switching attorneys, the new lawyer had it submitted in a week and finalized by the judge shortly after. I trusted this team to guide me through one of the hardest seasons of my life. A simple "we think we can help you or at least offer some ideas based on what we've read so far" or "we don't think we can help you based on our initial review but would like more info"... would've been preferred. By taking our case, never intending to represent us through trial, they basically ensured we would not be able to find another attorney and would not be able to sue to recover our damages.
