We worked out details--he was able to work with a pet with us--and planned everything everything out. However, as we waited until the date our family picture event snowballed with ideas and wants from the family members. And I never gave Marc the 'head's up' to the changes. (I didn't even know what we were asking him to do, etc.) Marc came into all of it as a complete surprise, but he never lost his cool. He was very open to the ideas we had, and the wants we expressed, and with everything we threw at him he kept snapping pictures.
