Would…read morerecommend going right when they open in the morning, as that's when they reliably feed the penguins otters and sea lions in the open! We were even lucky enough to see some of the crabs get fed. There aren't too many fish tanks and most of the tanks are on the small side. They have some interactive elements, including a 360 cinema room that demonstrated the sounds heard within the oceans. Probably good for a 1.5 to 2 hour long visit!

There was a very friendly sea lion, and another one that had a shifty eye. It made our day. We just walk from our hotel. From the Bryggen is about 20-30 minutes walk depending if you get a little lost. But I guess is part of the experience.
