I didn't go for kava on this day, so I appreciated they also served coffee. I got the tiramisu latte and I really enjoyed it - so much so I'm trying to recreate it at home! The prices are super reasonable and the selection is unmatched! The owner is super nice too! I have always disliked matcha (and I've tried it all over the world...) I mentioned that to the owner and he said "Nooooooo- you've not had it made the right way!" And he gave me an awesome education about matcha. Even shared the one he was making so I could experience it the way God intended....with an "ahhhhh" , a smile, and a chocolate cold foam mustache! Perfection! It didn't taste like dirt, it tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry in liquid form! We intended to pop in for a coffee, stayed for a coffee, a matcha, an education, and the cool vibes put out by the folks here. I wasn't sure what to expect when I said it was my first time trying it but deffo did not expect a whole kava CEREMONY (I loved it). I got to try straight kava, kava with creamer, and kava chai flavoured (this was my favourite). While I didn't feel a "kava buzz," my body felt more relaxed and I had less back pain (I've been dealing with muscle pains due to working physical jobs for a few years now). So yes A++++ customer service. I love that they have a pool table as well.
