I at first liked these people. I'm a realtor and I manage a few properties for some overseas…read moreclients. Llayout did the flooring in an apartment I manage In Brickell. Competitively priced, did what I thought was a good job and the owner was very professional. BUT that's where it ends. I called them back a year later to do a kitchen and 1.5 bath cabinet remodeling job in the same apartment. First the building management refused to work with them because they had caused damage at another job in the building that they got based on the floors that they did for me. So like many contractors they operated using a friend's name. The job was very poorly done, they never finished and I had to hire someone to finish their work. And the work was done poorly. Exposed nail holes in the cabinets, bad finish and insane delays that cost my client a tenant. Now a year later the FLOORING they did two years ago is warping due to bad installation, the kitchen faucets are all loose ( my handyman tightened them), the ceiling peeled where they banged it doing cabinet installation and we found more exposed nails . I'm getting everything fixed but they're not going to hear from me again and I can't in good conscience recommended them

Mike, Rich and Keith are exceptional craftsmen and conduct themselves professionally. I needed to have a personalized approach to the important details that can make or break a kitchen cabinetry layout, design and installation. My project was not limited to the cabinetry. They created my customized island and installed trim work throughout my remodeled spaces. To my delight the referral to "Associated Cabinetmakers" provided a perfect fit. And they were competitively priced. I find that working with contractors can present a challenge and I say that as a kitchen and bath designer. This team more than satisfied my "must have" criteria. Communications were open and constructive. The semi custom product, Conestoga out of Pennsylvania, arrived in shop as scheduled and my installation process was a consecutive day process without interruptions. Sure, there will be a few tweaks, expect that and roll with it. Kitchen and bath cabinetry is a major design component in your space. Cabinetry is more than functionality and storage. The style, scale and structural form should be harmonious with the aesthetic and flow you want to feel in your home. Know your budget parameters for the overall vision you want to achieve. I suggest you have preliminary drawings, appliance specs and the sink/s specs available for the bidding process. Listen to the cabinetmaker's suggestions and get a feel for their demeanor. This will be a collaborative endeavor. "Associated Cabinetmakers of Palm Beach." will do their part in contributing to a successful project in your home.

Just discovered the floor almond grout which you used in the kitchen for caulking between the backsplash and the quartz cab top has to be removed. Haven't figured out how to deal with space under cabinets where the backsplash ends. Also no solution for the lippage throughout the flooring, especially the Livingroom, dining room and kitchen. But the tile is a good color. Hope you find time if not to make it right at least acknowledge the job and that there were a "few difficulties".
