I have to admit, I'm not an avid or repetitive festival goer. Once I go to a festival, I rarely go…read moreback. Court Days is the exception. My parents always go on Thursday, which is the first day of the fest. Not all of the vendors are out by opening day, so they usually go back on Saturday or Sunday. It always takes place on the third weekend of October, every year. I went on Sunday this year. I've been to this annual downtown Mount Sterling, KY festival more times than I can count. My favorite things are the people watching and the food. I liked that the food vendors had their health score posted. I think they have music and more of the traditional festival activities, but for the most part it's mainly craft and decor vendors. It's a step up from flea market garb, but the prices and items are comparable to the things and deals that you can find at flea markets. Be prepared to pay $10 to park. All of the curbside parking is blocked off and all of the businesses open up their lots for the a fee.

Court day used to be good. It used to be local artisan vendors making handcrafted items that you…read morecouldn't get everyday. It was an event. These days, it is just flea market junk. Socks, fake purses, fake sunglasses, fake perfume, fake northface jackets. The city council needs to improve this event, it is dying because it isn't worth going to. -give local sellers a FREE space -limit the junk vendors to one row -provide a map of where are the vendors all so none are missed, include a list of vendors with contact info Really disappointed in the city tourism that this event has declined so much.

My family & I had A BLAST here! We watched "Toy Story 4" and "Aladdin." Being a Disney nut, the…read morelineup couldn't have been better! We arrived 40 minutes early & were shocked to see cars already lined up on both sides of the street, waiting to get in. At $8 for adults & $3 for children (4 & under free), it was more affordable than going to a regular theater where you'd only get to watch one movie. Their radio station played oldies until time for the movie, so it felt like we were in the heyday of drive in theaters. I liked that they had a cartoon short before the double feature, & that there was a countdown before both movies so I knew how long I had to get through the concession stand. Having actual food there is a big bonus! Nothing beats dinner & a movie, especially when you can get it all in one place. The butter machine for the popcorn is on the customer side, so you can get as much as you want. We got drinks, candy, popcorn, a pizza & an order of cheese sticks. The prices were reasonable & it was all good--fast & fresh. The screen was crisp, clear, big & bright--good quality & enjoyable to watch. In my opinion, an employee parking people, or at least driving through before the movie starts, would make the experience even better. Most of the customers were taking an extra spot for their chairs, which is against the rules & resulted in a lot of people having to park adjacent to the screen or far away, & there were some tall trucks toward the front that blocked the bottom of the screen. Despite that, it was a great experience & we can't wait to go back!

The drive in is always a fun time! The prices at this drive in are super reasonable! $8 per adult…read moreand $3 for kids 5-12. It wasn't super busy tonight but this was the third week showing Incredibles 2. We didn't stay for the second movie, we were all tired and the bugs were crazy! Be sure to bring snacks, chairs and bug spray. Nice people and friendly service! Love drive Ins, makes me think about when this is what people did every week for fun! Bring extra blankets since they get damp from sitting in grass.
