It's run by a couple who have been doing it for a number of years. They were very friendly, took the clothing and got me the information about how long it would take to dry clean the suit very quickly. It was done when they said it would be, and the total price seemed very reasonable. It was $16.99 to get a suit dry cleaned and considering how infrequent it needs to happen, it seemed like a fair price. They were also very kind and answered a couple of very random questions that I had regarding dry cleaning. I wondered how often clothes don't get picked up and what they do with clothing that isn't claimed. The very nice lady that I chatted with said they keep things for a year and if people don't claim them or they are unable to get a hold of them after that time, they give them to the Salvation Army or the Union Gospel Mission. She said it doesn't happen very often, but they've had plenty of people move away And leave their dry cleaning. All said and done, the people working here nice, they did a good job dry cleaning my clothing, the price was fair and they seem to be a nice hard-working group of folks who are doing a nice job with the local small business. I was trying to get my clothes out of the washer mid wash and she immediately called the cops on me. That is so uncalled for and disgusting. There was an emergency button on the washer so I figured if I pushed it maybe it would drain and unlock the door to get my clothes. I asked her why she was calling the cops and she said for trespassing when clearly I'm tryin to get my clothes and the laundry mat was open and running for me to go in like normal. She wouldn't give me even 5min to get my clothes. I will be talking to management because that is not a reason to call the cops on somebody. She had one nasty attitude and Delaney Laundry mat should be ashamed they have employees like this working for them. She had her kids in her car and it doesn't seem professional if you're on the job to have your kids riding around with you. Completely shocked and lost for words on how horrible my experience was and the disrespect I was given over a honest confusion on what time they closed.
