No one sat at the bar, mostly at tables on terrace/patio. Stopped in for a beer and snack. Staropramen draft (pilsner-like) beer was ~70 SEK and meat/cheese platter was ~175 SEK. Took a little while to order, but received items soon after order. Food was nothing worth mentioning and platter seemed a bit overpriced. May have been more fun on weekends. Bottom Line: Ok for late night, but would opt to hop over to other nearby places.

For those who aren't familiar with the drink, they do sell Pucko! Don't ask, just buy one. They have seating inside for quite a few people and benches outside whenever the weather would be warm enough to do so (this is Sverige after all...) The walk-up window is open later than the inside so you are able to grab it and go. The woman making the food is very nice. Not only did she know her stuff she was pretty nice to this foreigner and a Norwegian friend. I gave this place 5 stars because this is one of the few places that can do a mean burger. Also 5 stars for being clean and having nice staff. Whenever I'm back visiting I'm making sure to visit again.

The only (Swedish) twist it has been given, and this is not a bad thing, is that it is also a restaurant and thus there are many tables. The tables are fairly widely spaced and some of the chairs to them are lether 'Chesterfield' type. The choice of ales is breathtaking. I didn't count, but they must have around 12 ales and 6 or so other kinds of beer on tap. We drank, London Pride, Spitfire and a local lager. The food was good. We ater fish and chips and a Swedish dish (pancake with bacon and little red lingonberries). Unlike at least one other pub I went to in Karlstad, it's customers seem to be a bit older in the 40 to 50 year old range.
