Garza Blanca is always a nice travel destination when I travel to Cancun. The hotel is well maintained with staff that are always polite, helpful and attentive. The rooftop pool was amazing and a fun time to meet others and enjoy a hosted game poolside or simply bask in the sunshine overlooking the infinity edge to the gorgeous green/blue water colors. When you come to the Garza Blanca, you don't need to leave. There are good restaurants onsite, easy, delicious and no cab ride. You can also enjoy the lower pools, as there are several of them to choice from. The swim up bar is a welcomed addition and the sights of the beautiful water, sand and other travelers await to engage in shared conversations. You won't be disappointed but will miss out if you don't give it a try yourself! Fun times!

Awesome! Definitely one of the better all inclusive experience we've had. First thing first, MAKE RESERVATIONS for restaurants!! If you want a good time, it gets booked up a month in advance. Some restaurants would be completely empty and they'll tell you they can't seat you. Rooms: very comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and comfortable. There's also a ceiling fan. Nice balcony with a hammock. The tub is a nice feature but I wish they had one in the balcony too. The bathrooms are very nice. All the toilets are Totos bidet Japanese style. It's AMAZING! The shower is double shower head, rain fall and a regular shower. Everything was luxurious. Also, nice little fridge stocked with beers and soft drinks and a Espresso coffee maker. Pools: plenty of pools for everybody! Lots of chairs, we were always able to find a good seat. Pool service was good if you got the males, especially Chewy. Great guy! Don't forget to tip. Our last day we got this lady and she was horrible, not happy and wasn't attentive. The beach was not great. It had too much seaweed. It was gross. Restaurants: -Hiroshi Sushi: pretty decent sushi. They have nigiris, cooked fish, sushi rolls, yakitori, and even noodles. Their nigiri wasn't too bad, some fish were better than others. One day I think they messed up regular tuna for otoro, we got lucky!! That's an extra cost item. The sushi rolls were ok too. Octopus carpaccio was delightful. The yakitori was good, lots of meat. Eat it with rice. I got the miso baked salmon and that was DELICIOUS! A good restaurant overall. -Dao (Chinese): the worst restaurant at Garza. It was bad. We got XLBs, dumplings, fried shrimp, shu mai, beef noodles, wonton noodles and the epic dessert. Their dumpling wraps were too thick. The shu Mai was super salty and overuse of white pepper. The soups were decent, you can get half bowls. It needed sriracha or a spicy sauce. The dessert show was cool but too much alcohol made it bitter. -Bocados (steakhouse): they have "dry age" beef, which doesn't taste like American dry age. So don't get your expectations up. I got the surf and turf. I got a medium on the filet and they cooked it right. Good flavors. The regular ribeye tasted better than the dry age. Steaks were pretty decent. Do not get the salad with the sweet vinaigrette, it was inedible because it was so sweet. Their onion soup was bomb! -Villa del Palmar: La Casona STK- I thought this steakhouse was a little better than Garza one. They had flank and their ribeye was better. Dessert was good too! -Villa del Palmar: Davino (Italian)- this we thought was the best restaurant. Everything was elevated here. I got the seafood squid ink pasta and it was so good! Their t bone steak had great flavors too! Their beet salad was on point and their desserts were so much better than all others. -The rooftop/Pool food: the rooftop has better pool food than the main pool. We really liked their ceviche and aguachile. They also have tuna poke bowl. Both pools have pizzas, burgers. The pizza on the rooftop has a garlic crust, made it good! Their burgers are hefty and thick. I liked it! Pretty good pool food. -The gourmet hall: for breakfast Buffet, standard breakfast buffet, good variety of American and Mexican. I love the omelette bar. They have a Mexican stewed meats near the end. Espresso bar, juice bar, fresh fruit. Their green juice is very good! -Bar: the lobby bar is the best! These guys at the lobby bar are mixologists, they make really good drinks. Gym: pretty good gym. They have dumbbells weights, kettlebells, smith machines, a rower and plenty of treadmills and a yoga stretch room. Also water and plenty of towels. We came early, like super early before check in. They have a wellness center with couches where you can take a nap. It's connected to the gym, so bathrooms and showers. Well just the women's shower, the men's was under construction. They let us check in as early as 9am, if there's a room available. My friends weren't so lucky to get an early room, but we were. But they are the only Mexican resort that ever let us checked in early. Ever. And as always, avoid the timeshare scam! Don't do the presentation ever. It'll waste 3-4 hours of your life even though they say 1. Strong sales too. Watch out. And always check your bill. If all inclusive make sure you cross out the total and include gratuity if you like. Otherwise cross out and take picture so you can account for every item when checking out. I heard some servers add extra gratuity. But we were cautious and always took pictures. You have to sign for everything because there are people without all inclusive. Great experience! Definitely one of the better resorts! Totally recommend. They do need to up their game on the key card, put an RFID on the bracelets and have an app that you can have a map or check resort amenities and menus. Also I hate the reservations system bc many tables left empty, just accept first come first serve.

This was definitely a luxurious resort experience! I had such a great time at this hotel. The resort was just beautiful and the amenities were amazing. I wish I had the chance to stay longer. When we attended the resort was not at full capacity, so I am sure now it must be a lot more packed. But at the time it was very easy to enjoy the pools and the surrounding areas. I will say that the one downside was the quality of the food. The food was OK, but we had much better food going to some of the surrounding restaurants outside of the resort. Overall this is a great spot to have a nice relaxing vacation. But I do think that the food is catered more to tourists and less to an authentic experience.

This resort was beautiful! Now keep in mind that they are still in the time period of their soft opening and will not be having their grand opening until October 2021. What they do have completed so far was wonderful! We got the junior ocean view room and when looking straight out it does look onto the construction of the second half of the hotel but once you're on the balcony hanging from your own room hammock you can enjoy the view of the ocean and resort below. The room service was quick and delicious. We ordered the Pepito sandwich and club sandwich with a variety of deserts and they all came fast and warm. Each night when we got back to our room the bed had been turned down and mini fridge restocked with included snacks. We went to Blanca Blue for breakfast twice and Jorge and Leonel were absolutely wonderful servers and we wanted for nothing while they took care of us! All the breakfast items were beyond expectations and we were just blown away by the great customer service! Highly recommend the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. Heaven! We spent a good amount of time at the swim up bar on one of the days and Edi and the other bartenders there made quick and STRONG drinks! The mango margaritas are a must and they always served them up with a smile! Keep in mind as well because they are still under construction they don't have an official front lobby yet so the check-in process is a bit weird but we got through it in a good time and they served champagne as we sat there with them so I was definitely kept happy! During this construction period they are sharing the resort with Villa de Palmar so you get to walk around and enjoy the perks of both resorts. Holy moly you HAVE to have lunch or/and dinner at Zuma. We tried their shrimp tacos, ceviche, mole and many other items there that completely rocked our worlds. These resort is not only a peaceful beautiful stay but the customer service is the best I've ever had. I walked up/passed one of their morning meetings and 20 employees stopped and turned just to say good morning! I can't imagine how much more amazing it will be after their grand opening. Go and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Shittiest ocean view I've ever had.

Shittiest ocean view I've ever had. Service seems decent so far. 3pm room ready turned into 3:45. Here for a wedding. Will update either way with the rest of our stay.

Amazing resort, delicious restaurant options. Most beautiful views of the ocean. Will definitely be back! A word of caution, however... The hotel is only partially built, so there is a lot of construction going on, starting at 7:30 a.m.

My wife and I went to Garza Blanca needing a romantic getaway. Garza Blanca and Villa Del Palmar are beautiful properties with fantastic rooms and the best service you can ask for. Our stay was very comfortable and the all inclusive worked out great. A lot of reviewers have said how important it is to make reservations, this is partly true... When you get to Garza Blanca you are assigned a "butler", whom I would assume most folk under utilize. Our butler was able to get us into all of the restaurants that were otherwise booked full. In addition they will even do small things like have a bubble bath ready for you when you get back to the room. Anyway, we did enjoy the amenities, butler service, food and drinks. The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact there are more children than adults running around the resort and they only provide one Adult only pool. So the "romantic" part of our getaway was a bit difficult. All of the restaurants, bars, and pools were filled with loud children. There is a swim up bar at one of the pools, if there weren't children actually sitting at the bar, they were playing hide and seek literally right behind us. It's kind of weird to drink alcohol with children at the bar. There are 7 pools and only one dedicated to adults and it was on the rooftop. No matter what time of day or night, even at 10pm at night there are kids playing tag at every restaurant. So that is my only gripe... would have been more romantic if there were more space dedicated to adults.

This is the best resort that I have ever been. The staffs were super friendly, all can speak English fairly well. Everything I need, just asked and they would accommodate them in timely manner. The room is beautiful and SUPER CLEAN. In fact, they clean it twice a day, every day. The foods are good and fresh, plenty restaurants to choose from. Too bad they don't have Thai nor Korean foods, but it's okay. The pools and clean, clear and beautiful. It has a beach too, looks really nice but we did not swim there because of seaweeds season. If you come here in seaweeds season and would like to swim in the beach, I would strongly recommend to go to Isla Mujeres, via ferry. I do not recommend to book for private boat to that island from Cancun. Take the ferry will be both faster and less nauseated. If you want to go for the whole boat tour then once you are on the island, book a private boat there. It will be cheaper with the same destinations as the one from Cancun with less vomiting. Oh and the Front Desk can help you setting them up too. Overall, if you interested in Cancun's resort, you should check this one out.

This property is amazingly beautiful but for the cost the service and food are not nearly worth it.

Our stay at ATELIER Playa Mujeres was truly next level easily one of the best all-inclusive
read moreexperiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was on another level. The staff treats you like family while still delivering top tier luxury. The drinks? Top of the line. Not watered down, not basic real quality liquor, crafted cocktails, and premium options everywhere you go. The food was consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and restaurant quality at every spot on the property. No "typical all-inclusive" shortcuts here everything tasted made to order. And the ambiance... unbeatable. The architecture, the art inspired design, the infinity pools, the beach views it seriously feels like heaven on earth. Every corner of the resort is peaceful, clean, and stunning. Honestly, it's the kind of place that makes you think about going back every single day after you leave. 5 stars isn't enough.

My first visit in to the Atelier in 2025 was so incredible I was excited to return this year. Last
read moreyear, the hotel surprised me with birthday decorations in my room, so I naturally expected something similar this year. I even noted my birthday on the reservation and mentioned it to my butler the day of. Unfortunately, my birthday came and went with nothing. Only after I complained did decorations appear the following day along with an opportunity for a free spa massage in exchange for listening to a 90 min sales pitch. After such a missed opportunity with the birthday decor, I should've known it was going downhill from here. After the presentation that ended up being 3 hours not 90 mins, I signed up the the Inspira vacation membership but changed my mind the following day. I submitted a cancellation request for the membership within the contract's grace period and received no response until after that period had passed. It's says a lot about the character of a brand when a company is highly responsive during the sales process but far less responsive when a customer exercises their contractual rights. Also, Maria Dolores wasn't great. It was actually a 5/10. The other restaurants on property have way better food. After this experience, I will NEVER return.

Excellence Resort - All bathrooms have hand towels versus paper towels. Excellent for the environment.

My husband and I have been lucky enough to visit Excellence Playa Mujeres twice now--first for our
read morehoneymoon a few years back, and most recently to ring in the New Year. To be honest, we can't imagine spending New Year's Eve anywhere else. Both times have been absolutely fantastic; the team didn't skip a beat. The resort is stunning and impeccably maintained, but what truly makes this place a gem is its incredible team and vibrant atmosphere. Entertainment The entertainment is top-notch, with a variety of high-energy performances each night. We were absolutely blown away by the Freddie Mercury tribute act. The resemblance was uncanny, and his energy was simply amazing--he had the whole place rocking! It's shows like that that make the evenings so memorable. The Heart of the Resort: The Staff As wonderful as the resort itself is, the staff are the real reason we started planning our next trip back before we even left. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and are the key to the entire experience. We spent most of our days at the Excellence Club pool, and our waiter, Floricel, was a true standout. He was wildly attentive and responsive, ensuring our glasses were never empty. He didn't just take orders; he helped us discover the most incredible new drinks and his fun, engaging personality truly made our days by the pool so much more enjoyable. Our concierges, Edgar and David, were unbelievably helpful. From the moment we arrived, they helped us navigate our time at the resort, making reservations and ensuring every detail was handled. Having a dedicated concierge team like them is so important; they remove all the stress of planning and make you feel completely prioritized and cared for throughout your entire stay. We truly felt like their only guests. We also have to give a shout-out to Cesar at the lobby bar. We were so impressed that he recognized us from our previous trip, and of course, we remembered him! He is exceptionally attentive, and man, that guy is fast. He's a true professional. Last but certainly not least, a special mention goes to the man running the pizza oven at the main pool. He deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his craft. He was just killing it all day, every day, serving up perfect pizzas with a smile. It's this level of service and genuine warmth from the staff that makes Excellence Playa Mujeres feel like a home away from home. We came back home so refreshed and can't wait to return.

I visited Cancun for the first time, and I'm so glad I stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres. Our stay
read morewas for 7 days in a Junior Suite with the Excellence Club upgrade. Excellence Club: The upgrade gives you perks that, in my opinion, are worth the splurge. You get a private beach area, a private pool, exclusive access to the Magna restaurant, and a lounge bar. In your room, they add fresh flowers, sparkling wine, and an upgraded mini bar. You also get a different room service menu and a hydrotherapy session per person. Staff: Absolutely every staff member gave us phenomenal service. Many returning guests said the staff is why they came back. Some other resorts are more technologically advanced, but Excellence is top tier for its service. Someone is always checking in, and anything you need is taken care of right away. Pools/Beach: There are several pools, including a main pool with a swim-up bar. I called this the party area because it has music and afternoon activities/games. My favorite spot to lounge was near the "lazy river" across from the ping pong and billiards. This area is quieter, and they also have some day beds available. People get up EARLY to save the day beds and the lounge chairs. One morning, I headed down just before 8 AM, and there were only two day beds left. People leave towels, bags, or books to save space. The resort does not allow this, but it's difficult to enforce because you can't tell if someone is away swimming or grabbing a snack somewhere. Be a nice human, and don't save a space for three hours while you're up in your room sleeping. The beach also has a lot of lounge chairs and day beds. I've visited the beach in the morning and in the afternoon around 1 PM and was able to snag a lounge chair. Both pool and beach areas are very well attended! There is someone going around every 10 - 20 minutes checking in on you to see if you need water, drinks, or food. Restaurants/Food: It is impossible to absolutely kill all food categories at a resort. I'm going to be honest, the American food was not it. I wasn't a fan of cheeseburgers, wings, or pizza. However, there were some restaurants and food items that stood out to me. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with the Kitchen Table. It's a brunch buffet, and my go-to was the made-to-order omelets, chilaquiles, and French toast. The freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing, AND be sure to order a cappuccino instead of their regular coffee. For lunch, I highly recommend the fish tacos at Lobster House or the agua chiles and the crunchy salmon tacos from Olas. You get a great view of the beach while you eat, and it's a great vibe. One of our favorite dinners was the interactive dining at Spice. This does require a reservation, and I recommend making this reservation when you check in. It's a teppanyaki-style dinner, and you're in a separate room with 10 people total. It's very intimate, and all the courses were delicious. Our favorite post-dinner hangout was at the Sports Bar. They have a small pool table and will likely have a game that you're looking to catch while you enjoy a beer or cocktail. Aroma was our go-to for our morning coffee and our nightly ice cream scoop before heading to our room. Their iced hazelnut coffee was excellent, and I loved their lemon sorbet. You also cannot go wrong with the 24/7 room service. Experiences/Show: Download the Excellence Collection app. You'll use it every day for entertainment schedules and restaurant menus and dress codes. There are daily fitness offerings like yoga, pickleball, volleyball, or Zumba and activities like Sip Wine & Paint and Cantarito painting on the beach. Some events have limited spots, so arrive early. Every Thursday is the Mexican Fiesta with mariachi and a huge buffet (and a ton of margaritas), so it's a great time. Shows we loved were the Burlesque, Elegance Circo, and the Magic Show. Seasons Transfer: If you stay 7 days, you get a free airport pick-up and drop-off. Seasons provided great instructions, and finding our driver was easy. The vehicle was comfortable with room for six. Our return trip felt hectic because of an accident that caused major traffic. We still made the flight, but I recommend requesting an earlier pick-up time just in case. Junior Suite: I still think about this bed. I took a picture of the mattress brand because I want one at home. The pillows were perfect, and they gave us four. The couch wasn't comfortable, and the TV options were limited. I wish there was a Netflix login option. I'm hoping this is part of the hotel renovation. There's a tub near the window we didn't use, but it was a nice option. The ocean-view balcony was 10/10. The bathroom has a glass door, so not super private, but the shower was huge with a rainfall head. Closet space was great, and the robes and slippers got daily use. Overall, I was very happy with our stay. It's worth the money, and I felt like I was in an episode of White Lotus when they greeted us with champagne.

I've been to a number of carribean all-inclusive trips, at multiple hotel/resort brands. I have to
read moresay this is up there as one of my favorites. The resort was clean (very clean), things worked as intended, the staff was EXTREMELY friendly and very helpful, and the food was good! It always helps when you're in Mexico and you get good weather (which we did) but these folks had the grounds and resort, itself, firing on all cylinders. My down-rankings were in the lack of daily engagement and night-time activities. Besides a massive party thrown for the superbowl, I didn't notice any nighttime activites (could be my fault for not looking into it more) and the daily activities existed but the staff didn't really try very hard to pull people "into the fight", if you will. Having said that, these luxuries that I've seen at other brands did not take away from the wonderful experience that my friends and I had!

Came here for a wedding and here is an overview of the stay
read more The best part imo is that it is about a five minute walk to Secrets, the adults only resort. If you have children, stay at Dreams, if you don't, stay at Secrets. I think it's honestly that easy. The only difference is if for some reason Dreams is super less expensive than Secrets and you don't have kids, you might as well stay at Dreams and walk over to Secrets every day. I didn't see a Secrets room, but I can't imagine it being better enough to warrant a huge price difference. Expect to see a wedding if you're here on a weekend, this place gets booked out early for weddings (like a year in advance). However, if you like to dance, it is the weddings that make the lounge fun. I heard the lounge can be pretty dead, but when there's a wedding party coming here for an afterparty, it livens the place up. I heard a couple who was leaving comment how our wedding party made that place fun. The food is like cruise food. Weirdly, a lot of restaurants were closed on certain evenings and there isn't a lot open at lunch. Look at closures before you come, so you don't spend a night eating at a restaurant that you could have eaten at when most of them are closed. I personally liked all the ceviche I tried (I know, brave of me for eating ceviche in Mexico) and disliked all the sushi I tried. All the octopus I tried was quite good too. They are very strict about mens clothes. If you go to a nicer restaurant, the men have to have sleeves. It was pretty funny that my sister and I were able to eat at the french restaurant in a crop top and shorts, but men were sent back to their room to put on a collared shirt. Bring some nice clothes. Room service takes forever, make sure you order ahead. They only bring out room service at certain times, so you go on the app and choose a time. If they are already filled at that time you could have to choose a time hours later. So either plan ahead or figure you'll be walking to a restaurant to get food. Restaurants can get very busy, so it's better to go right when it opens. Otherwise, you may end up waiting a while. There isn't a lot of activities during the day so this is definitely a lounge by the pool or beach type resort. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just be aware. At Secrets they have live music by the pool during the day which was nice. They have a good amount of workers walking by getting drinks. If you want more premium alcohol get a preferred room. They consider titos premium. Otherwise, the preferred room doesn't really seem worth it. The lazy river that only preferred guests have access to seemed really slow and there weren't a lot of people in nit. It's hidden for the most part, but since we were in the main building we could see it. The kids splash pad looked awesome for children. I would absolutely bring my kids here. The rooms are big, but depending on which building you are in, some are better than others. Get a room in the main building if you can. Originally we were in building 7 and it seemed older. The only downside to the main building was for the ocean view there was no shade on the balcony so we almost didn't use the balcony at all.

read morewere a lot of things they got right, but some misses as well. The property is huge and beautiful. Everyday, there are people landscaping, and doing maintenance on the buildings. It is very impressive. The room was bigger than I anticipated. For myself, my wife, and our two teens, it was more than enough room. The pull out bed was at least queen sized. Having a butler was great, and we made our reservations for the week shortly after checking in. Alejandro was outstanding and helped with everything we asked throughout our stay. Our first floor pool view walk out was prefect. It gave us quick access to the family select pool. Housekeeping was great and kept the room nice and clean. Fizz pool and the woodfire pizza was amazing for snacks and quiet relaxation. The beach was beautiful. Amazing sand and almost no sargassum. Service was great. Special mentions to Esperanza at the sports bar, Edit and Brandon at the family select pool, and Johan at the fizz pool. Nightly shows were great, but definitely geared to younger kids. The cafe was perfect for snacks and a caffeine boost. There were some things that were off, however, starting with the food. Appetizers at the restaurants were good for the most part, but with the exception of the Italian restaurant, entrees were average to poor. It was a real disappointment. I also felt like I wasn't always informed of what was going on, even when I was at certain places things were happening. For example, twice, we were at restaurants where there were special stations set up for food, but neither the hostess of the waiter said anything about it. Check in was strange as well. They have private check in for Family Select, which seems like a good thing, but there was only one person there, and multiple families checking in. This seems ticky tack, but clearly the resort knows who is checking in, and many times, approximately, when. Total time spent was almost an hour. It's also overly complicated by checking in with IPads. I feel like they could do a better job of allocating their resources. I would definitely recommend, especially if you have younger children, but there are some kinks that need to be worked out.

We set our expectations high for this place considering all the reviews/ratings on Trip Advisor,
read moreGoogle, Facebook, and Yelp. Adults only, couples only, all-inclusive resort - that's a big yes! We hadn't been to a resort in a long time and were very stoked for our visit in August 2025. As is the standard for the Excellence brand of resorts - the staff greeted us warmly and professionally. Instantly, our needs were taken care of - the room wasn't ready, but we were provided with an opportunity to change and immediately take advantage of our stay. The size of the resort initially threw us off - it is much smaller than your typical resort, but it also caters to a smaller crowd for (their words) "a boutique experience." It seemed dead until we got close to the beach area and the swim-up bar. This is where the people hang out. Dinner at El Mar our first night was amazing - excellent seafood (check out the pics) and service. We ate twice each at Lupita Steakhouse and La Isla. Unfortunately, the hotel kept changing the schedule of which restaurant would be open what night. This threw off our dinner plans more than once, and we spent more time at La Isla (with the least exciting menu) getting eaten by mosquitoes than we cared for. During our stay, the beach snacks menu also changed. It went from a delicious two-page menu to a sad one-pager; gross nachos and hot dogs, anyone? Online, people went on full-on rants about this. It turns out the menus across all the Excellence resorts are being stream-lined to the new executive chef's "vision." Some people, from what I read online, are now considering cancelling their reservations, not wanting to fly all the way here for waffles and burgers. On top of the rebranding, the hotel is also undergoing renovations to bring it up to modern times. We thought our room was beautiful, but it was a tad outdated. For customer service, though - the Excellence brand will not settle for less than, well, excellence. All of our interactions with staff at all levels was top-notch. Because of the vibe here - we didn't talk to anyone but hotel staff for four whole days. Staff shout-outs: Denise, Luis, Fernando and Fabiola at the beach; Octavio and Bernice at the spa; Andrea, Aina, and Alexander at guest services; Pasquale, Alex, and Elvis at pool side; Cirilo and Vanya at El Mar, Brenda at La Isla, and Alberto and Barbra at Lupita. Fantastic job, everyone! Vibe: 5/5. Food: 3/5. Room: 4/5. Customer service: 10/10!!!!!

Hands down, the best all inclusive couples only resort in Cancun. The service, ambience, attention
read moreto detail, and cuisine cannot be beat. The morning breakfast buffet at Le Bisou has an array of fresh fruits, pastries, and sushi. The morning breakfast buffet at Isla Trattoria offers more traditional Mexican dishes. The ribeye at Lupita Steakhouse is a must try. The Tequila Experience is a steal at $50, which includes Casa Dragones and Clase Azul. The cabana rentals are only $60 for the entire day and come with a coconut drink, mimosa bar, and fresh fruits. We will be back!!!

Second visit and another GREAT vacation! We have been fortunate to travel to some amazing
read moredestinations and this place is special. It's fairly new and a lot to love here. But we read a lot of reviews at Yelp, trip advisor, ect, and the reviews are mostly glowing and no mention of anything that could be better. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort, but there were a few things that could have been better. But thus was overall the best AI and we will return. Shootout to an exceptional employee Jhordy at inspira pool who went way above and hope to see next time. Our butlers, Ping Ting and Aline were fabulous.. and will request them next time. They made everything run smoother and got us ALL the reservations at the times we wanted. Def would have not happened w/o a butler. Not intrusive at all. appreciated fuss made for our 27th anniversary . A lot sets this apart from other all inclusives. I feel the food and the cocktails are better and more selecting. We often are celebrating either a birthday or anniversary on vacation, and they always ask at resorts. But then nothing is ever done or said to honor it, which is disappointing. That was not the case here. It seemed every server congratulated us on what we are celebrating. made us feel very special, plus I assume the butlers sent roses and champagne with a big chocolate heart to our room. very much appreciated. It might seem childish, but these dates mean something to me, and I appreciate when they are acknowledged. This is a fairly new resort, and everything seems very clean and well kept. The staff was warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If they were understaffed or having a bad day, they sure hid it. Love the way the common areas and bathrooms smell ... omg you will see. I love the fragrance of the molten brown amenities ..going to buy some. Our inspira swim out room was large, quiet, and luxurious. Well-appointed and lovely. The tub was amazing, but they don't have shampoo and conditioner in that area, and the areas they do have amenities it's locked in, so you can't move it. Is inspira worth the extra? We did it both times. Would not risk being upgraded to an inspire Without the cost. Inspira gives you more access, and I believe a bump in service. If you are fortunate enough to afford it then get it ... if not then don't. In the reviews, I didn't run across many with even minor complaints that they could improve, but there are always things that could be better. I'm gonna put those in the tip area ,so if they want to improve a bit on an already great resort. I love it here and the staff are the truly the best. What signs they have are easy Missed And they don't have a lot of signs directing you especially to area that used to be for families. Personally, I think they wanted to make it harder for the family.People to come over to the all adult area back when it was two different resorts. Now that it. 's all adult I really think they should figure out a way to make it easier to navigate. We didn't know that there was a restaurant that had Buffet for all three meals Until halfway through our second Visit. Well i'm gonna leave some tips In the tip area. Because I don't want this to seem like I had a bad trip. This was incredibly relaxing and luxurious and wonderful. Exceptional staff make all the difference. Mixologists at Calle bar are so fun to watch them create liquid art. No one ignored us and no bad attitudes. I would say one of ... possibly the best all inclusive we have tried in all our travels. Sorry sandals, excellence, secrets, Iberostar u have been out done. employees went above the call bring lots of tip money.

Five star all-inclusive and adults only resort!
read more Newly opened resort about 40 mins from Cancun airport and 20 minutes further from hotel zone. Our reservations was for (7) days and the length of time felt right. We booked two excursions; (i) visit Chichen Itza on a tour; and (ii) visit Playa Mujeres on a catamaran. Chicen Itza is a "must do" if you visit Cancun for the first-time (no question). Following our two excursions it was back to the resort to relax, eat and sleep! The resort has (7) eateries from avant garde, to breakfast buffet, steakhouse, italian, american, asian and pastry cafe. The exquisite culinary cuisines at each restaurant was phenomenal but the steakhouse, asian and buffet ranked highest for me. The bars on property were sexy and classy from the rooftop ocean views, lobby and swim up bars with the staff making our experience special. By far, the sky bar and lobby bar were the spots for me each day serving "top shelf drinks". There is also no need to leave your room if you're hungry, room service was impeccable by bringing your meals in a warm service cart with all the condiments and proper silverware. I highly recommend the New York Strip! There is no denying feeling compelled to stay on property to maximize an all-inclusive, but this is one property I'd have no issues being stranded at. Service is first-class, staff is highly attentive and respectful of your privacy and the resort is highly luxurious. If the opportunity to splurge on a room permits, I'd recommend the swim up pool on the ground floor(s) to enjoy swimming under the stars at night with that someone special, you'll forever remember those moments.

Creating seating at the various restaurants for our 3-generation, 15-member family group was, at
read morefirst, a challenge for restaurant staff, but they rose well to the occasion & made it work after the first few days, especially with he supervision of Nancy in the Market Restaurant & Munther Shawa, Head of Food & Beverage for the hotel; they were of tremendous help. I loved nearly everything about the hotel: the bathrobes which I wore every morning to & from the main pool for my 6 AM, 40-lap swim, the large walk-in shower (put a towel on the floor in there as it can be slippery), a large tube of tooth paste was a surprising addition to the bathroom toiletries, plus excellent body lotion (also a rarity) & shower gel. The variety of light switches & sensors throughout the room made for a bit of a challenge when it came to turning off lights as needed/wanted. Housekeeping staff was great with room cleaning & evening turn-down service (little chocolates included!), the enjoy-all-you-want-liquor shelf & the generous drinks/snacks in the mini-fridge, plus multiple comfy chairs & couches both in the room & on the balcony. Our jacuzzi were not the most powerful but the jacuzzi in one of our 3 sons' rooms was the perfect rainy-afternoon distraction for their 4 young kids. And what's not to love when there are full length picture windows on 2 sides of the jacuzzi so you can see out to the sky & your porch? Staff everywhere was friendly, most know a good enough amount of English, Alberto @ Guest Services was as helpful as can be, the gym is the most impressive one I have ever seen & 2 of our kids did full blown workouts every morning (super large, very well outfitted, clean, great lighting), the grounds are meticulously cared for, including such details as broom-cleaning the ceilings of the breezeways. The main pool gets same attention to detail with the hand-cleaning of its sides several times a day (thank you to Trainee, Carlos, for making chaise loungers available to our large crew every day). The pools next to the kids' club are a huge draw for kids (& adults!) of all ages (no drinks allowed to be brought there) with the "blob" being SO fun to jump up & down on, the multiple water slides, sprayers, nearby chaise lounges & lifeguard. I loved the Sweet Corner, where we enjoyed lattes, frappes, milkshakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins, ice cream & more with staff bringing in fresh inventory several times /day. Us grandparents enjoyed our morning coffees post-swim before the sons, daughters-in-law & all their kids woke up, did their workouts & then gathered for breakfast. Higher end alcohol is offered at the many, many (& I mean many) bars, which was a nice perk (Wences at the Aqua Bar puts together some great drinks), there are several soft ice cream dispensers, plus a great juice bar, several laps pools offering quieter spots for sunning, an adults-only pool & bar, the beach is fully tractor-cleaned every morning, there are tons of palapas on the beach, and the beachside Dunas Restaurant offers good options although the wait time can be long for a table & then your food. We ended our days watching the 8 PM live theater shows with such themes as Michael Jackson, Mario Brothers, Afro-Caribbean performers & acrobatics which our 7 grandchildren (from age 7 months to 8 years) all loved & ended at the perfect time for ALL of us to be ready to sleep after long, active days. Let me finish by saying that the food service & choices are a show stopper; the diversity of food, especially at breakfast (think: dinner for breakfast!) was both colorful, varied, healthy, fresh, filling & I cannot imagine someone not finding much to enjoy. I look back at my photos now & realize that there were food items I wish that I had chosen, even though I loved nearly everything I ate. I would gladly return to this hotel.

So far the best all-inclusive resort stay yet!! Everything is so well well maintained and clean

My husband and I were guests of TRS Coral last month and we were very excited to enjoy a five star
read morestay, however we did not experience the level of excellence that is expected from a five star hotel. Upon check in, we discovered half eaten food and other garbage in the mini fridge in our room. The safe was also broken however that was easily fixed so we were looking forward to the rest of the stay being an enjoyable experience. The same day we checked in, the toilet in our room broke after being flushed. The water in the bowl was constantly flowing which created condensation all over the toilet. We asked that it be fixed, however after a staff member reported to the room to fix the toilet, it again broke after being flushed. This resulted in us not having a fully functional toilet in our room until the last day of our stay at which point a staff member had to spend over an hour fixing the toilet properly. We had come to this resort looking for a romantic getaway and instead were left with awkward encounters involving unflushed toilets. At no point were we offered any recourse regarding this issue, such as moving to a different room. A number of other issues also occurred during the stay which in light of the toilet issue, we somewhat overlooked but nevertheless contribute to our overall feeling of disappointment regarding our stay at TRS. The hotel is either chronically understaffed or inefficiently operated as every single eatery within the TRS property had very long wait times despite only half of the dining area being full. For lunch at Helios when we asked if we could sit at one or the dozens of free tables we were told there wasn't enough waitstaff. For dinner at Gaucho we waited for fifty five minutes to be seated. We then sat for another twenty minutes before our order was taken. That's an hour and a half of waiting before having ordered any food. When the food finally did come, the steak was inedible. In terms of the spa, our butler informed us that he could get us an excellent deal of 30% off two massages and encouraged us to book asap which we did. At the pool later that day, a spa rep in a blue shirt advised us that this is not a good deal at all and he could give us two for one on massages. We had already signed the paperwork for the massages with our butler so we felt ripped off. It also undermines the sincerity of the service to your guests. The actual property itself is one of the most beautiful resorts we have ever seen so we were extremely disappointed when the experience didn't match the gorgeous setting. For these reasons we would not be inclined to revisit TRS, especially not for a romantic anniversary like we had planned. UPDATE: TRS have accused me of failing to report the recurring issue with the broken toilet and once I provided evidence by screenshots they have ghosted me. Disgusting customer service. Take your money elsewhere I would never stay at another Palladium property.

First time at TRS Coral but have stayed at multiple other places in Playa Mujeres/Costa Mujeres &
read moreCancun. I wanted to like this place so much more than we did. Overall food was actually pretty good (service was slow) and the beach was wadeable & well kept which i appreciated. There seemed to be more food options on the Grand Palladium side (not adults only) and it was a quick walk that we didn't mind doing. Approximately 40 min from the airport. Took private transport which was pretty easy (arranged through Costco). Check in process was easy enough although the employee at the front desk said he couldn't help us get our app set up so we could make dinner reservations & deferred us to our Butler who we didn't meet till the next afternoon). I was able to figure out the app by myself but most places required the Butler to make the reservation. We got a beach view room & the view was worth it although we tried to stay there as minimal as possible. first time with butler service (shout out to Jimmy & Fernando) - both very nice & professional and made sure we had all of our reservations and things lined up! Really appreciated their service. The rooms were not very updated and the sheets/linens were often dirty (visible stains). Air conditioning in the room was not well ventilated. beds were not comfortable-- my back was on fire every night. there was a tub in the room that we wanted to use on the last night since there's no jacuzzi on site (other than in the Spa) but it was dirty. The spa experience was okay overall-- i really felt rushed during the hydrotherapy circuit and the salt room was fairly pointless. they were nice enough to give us extra time in the jacuzzi but they shuffled us from one room to the next (sauna, steam room , salt room, cry room, jacuzzi, pool) fairly quickly.
