Dr. Kenneth Steffen, who is "Root Soft Tissue and Spine" is not like the past four chiropractors I saw who made "adjustments". This treatment is about removing adhesions in soft tissue (Google muscle adhesions) and not about moving bones. It's a different approach that is working for me and I wish more people knew about it. A friend told me about Dr. Kenneth Steffen after I had tried everything else. I've given it a lot of thought and research since I've been seeing him beginning on August 21, 2019. I'd never heard of "adhesions" before but have learned that scar tissue, adhesions, fibrosis, and knots are different words for the same concept of the dense, fibrous tissues that can form in our muscles and soft tissues. So, over the course of four months, my neck pain is gone when I thought I was stuck with it for the rest of my life. I will say, it hurts to have this treatment. If you've ever experienced someone pressing hard on a sore muscle you have, you know what I'm talking about. It's worse is at the beginning but as time goes on and the adhesions are broken down, the pain also goes away, during the treatment as does the pain that you originally came into get relief from. I am working with Dr. Steffen on my low back, now. I've got arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, along with degenerative discs in my low back and neck. I love to ride my ElliptiGO and that is helpful. I'm so glad I found someone who is actually helping me feel better. Ibuprofen, pain killers and surgery are not the answer for me. One more thing, Kenneth is a kind, trustworthy young man. I'm comfortable with him as a person and with his knowledge and professionalism.

The barrier to entry was super low. I used their first time patient special, which included an x-ray, an adjustment, and a one hour massage, all for just $21. That is an amazing value, especially considering the level of care and time they have already given me. They also work with my insurance provider, and I believe most others, which makes continuing care that much easier. I have not had my massage yet, but I am confident Cara will do a great job. Most importantly, Dr. Brock and Paige truly care about educating patients and helping people find solutions for long term spine health. This issue will take time to manage, but their kindness and knowledge have made a big difference for me already. He really cares about your health as a patient, above his own income stream. His goal is to get you healthy, not to establish regular chiropractic visits. One thing I like about Dr. Hall is that he makes a point of getting to know you as a person, not just a patient. He always asks about family members or events that are going on in your life. You really feel like a friend, not just a patient. Obviously the most important chiropractic skill is the adjustment itself. I have always received excellent adjustments from Dr. Hall. He's not limited to just the spine either. He always works on the feet and hips as well. To my surprise, he once adjusted my knee, and by simply popping it back into place, resolved an issue I had been dealing with for over a month. Dr. Hall can provide expert advise to athletes, too. He has helped me with proper shoe selection for long distance running and helped my son with his track performance. He always has helpful information to share on nutrition and exercise. I've added his daily core strength routine to my regular exercise program and it has helped my overall fitness level and helped me avoid more chiropractic visits. It's no problem to get an appointment. I've had a few "chiropractic emergencies" and they were always willing to fit me in. The office staff does a great job dealing with insurance companies, as well, although I've found it's better to just pay cash, because you have a reduced rate that way. For me, it's lower than my copay.
