Gary walked the property with me. He listened and understood what we needed with landscaping as well as drainage issues. He also understood that as new home owners, our property needs would probably be accomplished in stages. We've completed stage one, we love it, and we're looking forward to future landscaping stages. read more

Met with Gary to discuss changes to the entrance landscaping of my house. He showed me some basic concepts with tracing paper over photographs of my house. He then told me that for him to provide a detailed plan he needed $500. I paid Gary with a check and he called me a couple weeks later and said he was ready to discuss the plan. Gary informed me in an email that he would need an additional $500 to develop a planting plan. Needless to say I was confused so I asked Gary to wait until I saw the first plan before proceeding. Attached is my "detailed" plan for $500. I told Gary I did not want to proceed any further. Gary admitted that it appeared as a "bait and switch" but the next plan would include the actual plants he would use. Waste of my time and money! read more

It was a pleasure to work with Gary on the patio renovation at CC's Coffee House. He offered great advice and showed us several different options from which to choose. However, the ultimate decision was left to us. I can be indecisive but it didn't seem to bother him at all. He fielded each of my questions and worked hard to achieve the look we wanted. His laidback approach made this project easy, and I think our finished space turned out beautiful! I highly recommend Gary. He is professional, polite and has a great eye for style and functionality. read more

I have had the privilege of working with Gary on two occasions. First, as President of our Homeowners Association, where Haygood Solutions was selected to design our neighborhood swimming pool and entrance gates, and the second our backyard in our new home and it is awesome! Our Pool turned out unbelievable, as did our gates. As for our New Home, we could not have been more pleased. Gary designed and supervised the construction of two stone pads, brick retaining walls, brick columns, lighting and magnificent plantings. We were included in all aspects of the design and relied heavily on his superior design skills and significant knowledge of planting selections. Just today I was complemented on the project by a friend who suggested it should be featured in "Southern Living Magazine".....enough said! read more

Highly recommend. My yard was a mess. Shady, sloped with drainage issues. Gary and his guys did an outstanding job. Built an awesome retaining wall and filled with plants and a huge planter. Fixed drainage problem and completely redid our yard. We love it and spend all our time on screened in porch enjoying our beautiful yard. read more

I highly recommend Gary Haygood. He was very professional, developed a great design, listened to my wife and I and modified the design with our suggestions. Design worked great to control erosion around my house. Gary also recommended several vendors for associated work (yard work, fence repair, tree removal, etc.) they were great to work with. I would use Gary again and have recommended him to my friends. read more
