Five year update: There is not a day gors by that we don't love the view of our landscaped yard…read more As requested, Trio installed native plants that attract birds, since my hobby is photographing birds. But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. That sounds dumb, but seeing the seasons change in my yard is life affirming. Thanks, Diana. Larry and Helen

I called Trio Landscaping last fall to discuss a landscaping project we needed for our backyard…read more This is a duplex that hasn't had much loving care to the landscape due to it being a rental property. Now that my husband and I, the owners, moved in, we wanted a space that felt "finished", cozy and a place where we would like to hang out. Diana, the owner of Trio Landscaping, was excellent to work with. She spent a lot of time getting a good understanding of our budget and what we wanted before she created a plan and sent it to us. We had several zoom calls discussing the plan and making minor revisions to ensure it met our needs. Her design is spot on for our space. We were out of town the week the construction took place and came back to a completely new backyard! It has transformed the way we spend time in the back yard - hanging out with friends, grilling and just reading and relaxing. I now have a backyard I am proud to show off. The Trio Landscaping team are all top notch professionals! Thank you, Trio Landscaping!

Every time I landscape my yard, been taking care of my surrounding neighbors properties for over a…read moreyear now just to keep things uniform as well as keeping their leaves from blowing back onto my lawn. I do the Leaves, snow, mowing the grass; even weed whacking. This company comes in to do one of my surrounding neighbors landscaping inconsistently; whenever he feels like it. Likely waiting until I've done a bulk of the work for them before they show up. In the winter, rather than plowing the snow into the snow bank on the boulevard, this landscaper just shoots it all over everyone's cars and already shoveled sidewalks and will literally plow mountains of snow into your back yard and/or plow in your rear driveway parking spots. This goes on all winter. In the fall (which is happening currently) the landscaper shreds the leaves with his riding lawnmower (without a mulch bag attached) and blows it all over everyone's already landscaped yards, all parts of property and even blowing leaves and dirt at and all over the cars parked around the property he's "landscaping". I mean blasting leaves, dirt and rocks at any cars in the vicinity (which makes no sense because he blows most of the leaves all over the yards. There is no rational reason for this. No one is rude to this landscaper or anything. Everyone makes his job easier while he returns the favor by doing the opposite. When we asked him what he was doing, why he was blowing yard waste everywhere onto other properties, he said that his client doesn't have trees in his yard and it's not his problem. So? All of My leaves fell two weeks ago. Most of the residents on this block have been leaf-less for a while and took care of the last of them On street sweep day (the day that the City of Minneapolis allows residents to place their leaves in the street for free removal). I've cleaned leaves several times since street sweep day (none of them being from "my trees") and this is the second time within that time frame he's come to blow more leaves that "aren't mine" into my clean yard, and the clean yards of others. Common sense tells anyone that that's not how it works. Leaves blow around naturally onto your property that "aren't yours". That's life. You clean them up and move on. If you're a landscaper who's arrived to do a PAYING JOB, you bag up your yard waste like EVERYBODY ELSE. You don't blow your trash onto other people's property. He arrived three days after the city of Minneapolis allowed residents to blow their leaves into the street for next day removal on street sweeping day. Everyone on this block and beyond went out of the way to remove their leaves from their yards and put them into the street for this opportunity while this landscaper strolls up three days later and plasters the surrounding houses with leaves and other yard waste because he couldn't be bothered to arrive to do his job on time. He's also been "cutting" the neighbors grass who's hired him every single time he shows up to do his "job". It's currently the middle of November and the grass hasn't grown an inch for months. So, he's clearly scamming his elderly client. Even in the summer when it was relevant to mow the lawn, his lawn mowing jobs looked like absolute trash. He's rude and the jobs he does YEAR ROUND are 100% trash. If you want a bad experience, a shoddy job, a landscaper who will take advantage of whoever they can (even the elderly) by charging them for services they barely completed halfway (or not at all) which aren't even necessary and of course, super mad neighbors, this is the landscaper for you! If this company bothers to actually show up on time anyways.
