Outside the station you can find little shops and even a playground for the kids. We showed up an hour early for our train so it was nice to have a place for the kids to run around. Only downside was that the restrooms were out of commission so they had porta potties. I ended up holding it until we got on the train.

B) Amazing connectivity to not only Paris and the regional coastal cities but Spain, Italy and Switzerland via transfers. C) A warm, relaxing interior with that Mediterranean charm and new updated and very comfortable seating. D) Very user friendly machines in various languages and great and helpful English speaking support staff E) easy and quick hop on hop off access to beautiful Monaco, Nice and Cannes. F) Clean and well taken care of. G) Spotless and well maintained restrooms. It costs the equivalent of 50 cents to use the premises and absolutely worth it. The vibe here is no stress and easy transfers as all continue their holiday just 6 miles from the Mediterranean Sea.

A relatively painless stop in the center of Avignon. Three platforms are at your disposal. A lovely…read morecrepe shop and sandwich shop as well as a newsstand with drinks and trinkets are here and were nice spots to grab snacks or meals as we stopped here a number of times during our trip. Seems to serve as a regional train hub to many of the smaller towns and like many of the other train stations, it's easy to navigate. Most times, you don't have a lot of a choice of where you travel through and this is a good standard option.
