The main train station in Reims is small but somewhat confusing. There are two platforms but some require you to go down, then up, to get to your train. I recommend arriving early to navigate because it's confusing, especially if you don't speak French.
There are elevators if you have ADA needs or are carrying large luggage, which is nice. They're small, though, so build in enough time to wait.
They have bathrooms that cost .70 euro per person, so bring change in case you have to pee.
Food-wise, pickings are slim. There is a small sit down restaurant, a takeaway pastry stand, and a small store that sells bottles of juice, water, soda, newspapers, phone chargers, and other necessities for the traveler. There are vending machines with snacks and local honey, which makes a great souvenir.
The station is a very short walk from the main drag, that has tons of cute bistros and shops and bars.
Note that seating is very limited at this station, there are only a few seats for ticketed passengers to wait, so take note if you have issues and need to sit. read more
