Grounds are beautiful with small ponds, ducks and swans. Rent a car to go to different small towns around, Limone and SIRMIONE are definitely a must! Highly recommend staying here!

The location is perfect, the grounds are vast and beautiful, the…read morerooms have great views, and there are so many hidden amenities you'd never think of - they have fitness classes scheduled, outings and tours, a Garda our cars that gives free access to museums and the like, a washer/dryer room, etc. The location is ideal for being able to walk to the main part of Garda (15mins on the promenade by the lake) and for taking a dip in the lake or a run by the lake. It also has a sailing/biking rental place right inside so you can grab and go quickly in the morning. The two restaurants and a bar are also fantastic (though you need reservations). There are three pools- one for all, one for adults only, and an indoor pool. While you're relaxing by the pool, you can have a drink or a gelato or a massive watermelon from the cafe. Also there are bungalows for families and childcare options on the grounds (the "miniclub"). It's a very child-friendly place. Staying here really made me feel like I was on vacation, so relaxing, and so beautiful!

The gelateria Flora just outside the hotel is also worth a stop. The wellness area is very nicely done, even if quite small. There is no fitness area, but given the hotel being located just by the lake, it is worth going out to and have a run. The staff is very nice and helpfull. On the down side, the small things should be improved. No possibilities to iron a shirt (will cost you 2 euros) and the air con is not really working (at least in our room). But there is a free garage underneath the hotel, which is very convenient. The parc is quite nice and the outside pool looks good as well (opens only in mai, so couldn't try it). All in all, quite satisfied with this nice hotel.

Breakfast was good and the buffet also included prosecco. The seating was confusing, as some guest are assign to the same table during their stay. The swimming pool area is clean and nice, in the evening we stayed there, there was some music entertainment that were noticeable in the room. But it was not noisy, and it contributed to a nice time listening to the songs from the balcony with a glass of prosecco. Our view from the room was fantastic and the view alone is a good reason to book a night at this hotel!

There is a kettle in the room but no tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cups or spoons, so was left wondering what is was actually for?? Bathroom had a nice shower, hairdryer and lovely toiletries. Breakfast was a bit of a scram but there was quite a selection to choose from and what I ate was nice, there is even a pancake machine, with one press of a button and a couple of minutes later you have two lovely little pancakes, very impressed, would like one at home! On the whole I would recommend this hotel, it's not right in the centre but it's a couple of minute walk from the lake ferry pick up, which is handy and only about a 5 minute walk into town.

Actual coffee! Nowhere else in Italy had American style coffee (yes, lots of espresso and americanos and so on, but not normal coffee. And this place has it). They also had a self serve espresso machine which made really good espresso and steamed milk (considering it is a machine not a human!). Basically for the first time today I was fully caffeinated since I came to Italy and it was awesome! 5)they give you a jar of special salt as a gift when you check out!
