When I told him I wanted to undergo a natural birth, he respected my wishes and was on board completely. When I went into labor, I was excited to find that he was the OB on call. On my first visit, I explained some concerns I had to her. She asked some follow up questions and then proceeded to totally dismiss my concerns and symptoms in a very condescending, unempathetic, and unprofessional manner. She said that other patients had it so much worse than me so I should consider myself lucky. How does that help me? She then told me to deal with it because what I was experiencing wasn't that bad. It was very upsetting to be treated that way. I tried to find another doctor for my yearly exam but couldn't since I waited until the last minute so I ended up going back to Dr. S out of convenience. I had an extremely hard time getting an appointment with her since no one there ever answers the phone. You have to leave a message and wait for a call back and hope that when they call back you'll be able to answer the phone. I finally gave up on the phone and dealt with them strictly on the online portal, where I went back and forth a few times just to make an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk receptionist was not friendly at all. The women at the front desk are always dismissive at best. This woman had absolutely no personality, except to perk up a little and talk with the other receptionist negatively about another patient. I went back and spoke to the Medical Assistant who asked me irrelevant questions. At least she was friendly and nice. She gave me a gown, told me to change, and wait for the doctor. I was not given a paper drape for my lower body like is usually given, only a gown. This time Dr. S told me that Pap smears were only recommended every two years now, so she wasn't going to do it since I had one last year. I asked her if my insurance would pay for it and she said yes. Then she said it was not a good idea for me to do it because if I got a false positive for something, then I'd be worried for no reason. She said she had seen that happen many times and did all she could to talk me out of the Pap smear. I was not in the mood to argue with because I just wanted to leave, so I agreed not to do it. I was annoyed though. If my insurance would cover it, then why shouldn't I get a test done if I wanted it? I paid for the insurance every month out of my paycheck so it should be my choice. In addition to the skipping the PAP smear discussion, De S asked me the same irrelevant questions as the Medical Assistant did. Despite me being there before she had no idea who I was. At least review my chart for 60 seconds before you walk in and sit down. She did the exam, and at one point, I was lying there pretty much naked, since since there was no paper drape covering my lower body and the gown was open in the front. That made me uncomfortable but she did not seem to notice. Maybe that was their new way of doing things. Were they trying to save money on paper? I have never experienced that at any other gynecologist. It was ridiculous. I couldn't wait to get out of there! I was so disgusted. She sat at the desk for a few minutes, updating my file as I looked around the room. The office overall is a mess. The exam room walls were three different colors, the paint was chipped, and the floors had all scuffed, peeling hardwood. It needed a good cleaning too. The entire place needs a cosmetic, as well as an attitude adjustment, and an empathy overhaul big time! I do not recommend Dr. S because I feel like she doesn't really care about you as a person. She doesn't even remember who you are. No matter what you say, she does what she wants to do, is dismissive of your concerns and feelings, and doesn't take them seriously. Dr. S doesn't see or care if you're uncomfortable emotionally or physically. She gets in and gets out and then bills your insurance. If you need a quick exam, she's competent enough to do that but that's it. If you need anything behind that, don't bother going to her. You also have to deal with the nightmare of making an appointment with her office and the whole not answering the phone thing, so it's not worth it. She has several reviews on healthgrades and other websites from patients who have had bad experiences that were very similar to mine. I do not recommend her and neither do many other patients. Some words used to describe her that I think are accurate are: Condescending Demeaning Impatient Mean Rude Unempathetic Unprofessional Choose another doctor!

I've been a patient of hers for more than 12 years. I haven't always kept up my appointments, but that is not a fault of the office. I am reminded every year via letter to make an appointment. Stethoscopes are decidedly old school as doctors stare into laptops occasionally coming up for air to discuss symptoms and diagnoses with the enthusiasm of a metronome. The docs could just as well be holographic or stuck in the metaverse (for that matter, so could you.) "At the tone, please download your balz into the 3-D printer." You never forget for a moment that you're "on the clock." The good news is that procedures and testing that were once outsourced are now conducted in-house with most results available next day. Maybe there's something to be said for efficiency after all. Medicine's brave new world is alive and well here. I just might get used to it. Four 3-D stars.

I unfortunately was injured in a car accident. I was referred to Princeton orthopedic as the local…read moreplace to go. To be fair, it seems to be a busy and well organized practice. My interactions with the front desk was always helpful and informative. They also handled the covid situation well. They chose the physician who they felt would suit my injury best and placed me with Dr. Michael Grenis. Because of the nature of the injury, I was squeezed in for an appointment pretty quickly. With my first visit, Dr. Grenis seemed short with me and didn't explain anything to me. I chalked it up to being squeezed into his assuming busy schedule. I was examined and x-rayed and outfitted with a new splint. The physician assistant was warm and attentive. My second appointment was not as pleasant. Aside from the fracture in my wrist, I had a lot of pain in my arm that was noticeably bruised and swollen. It kept me up at night and hurt much more than my wrist. He didn't mention anything about it at the initial appointment aside from that it wasn't broken. So when I returned, I asked him to check it again because it was causing so much pain. Dr. Grenis' barked at me 'what do you want surgery??' 'It's a hematoma'. I seek a professionals advice because I'm not a doctor. I never understood what a hematoma was, nor had he mentioned that that's what it was. Nothing was explained to me what it was, about treatment for it, or what I could do for the pain. When he returned to the room I think he realized that he crossed a line and tried to amend his error. Too late. His behavior was intimidating and undermining. I was offered a review in email but didn't want to make it worse for myself.

They used to have very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Now, they are surly (Monroe location especially) and are almost nasty when asked for help. They have kiosks to check in where your ID and credit card are scanned. There are older patients who aren't familiar with computers and I actually watched a few people yelled at! What type of customer service is that? It now takes over 10 minutes on hold to make an appointment. Really? You may even be transferred to a different schedule who never picks up and he has an attitude if you ever get through. Lastly, the cleanliness has gone away. It is a medical office! The Monroe office floor is dirty like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Old dried out alcohol pads, dirt, bandages with dark, dried stains, gross. I am looking elsewhere, goodbye Princeton Orthopedics. You used to feel good going from soup to nuts, the desk to the doctor. Now, something has changed. I miss just a few years ago.
