Appalling company, very bad, zero customer service. Carpet fitter agreed on price and agreed to do a job but then never turned up and never answered his mobile phone. When I called first time he answered by mistake and said will call me back but never called back and never answered my phone. I called the shop and the owner tells me it's nothing to do with him and it's up to carpet fitter if he wants to answer and do the job. very unprofessional and rude company who has the audacity to treat people like dirt, they don't have a clue in customer service or the very basic of speaking to customers. people like this shouldn't be operating and dealing with people, they need to learn how to speak to people or at least answer the phone and be upfront. Dont use these cowboys, they are rude, have no manners or customer etiquette and don't know what they are doing. read more

Compared to the quotes given by well-established Carpet companies, I was shocked to receive the quality of carpet at a discounted price. We've had nothing but shambles service with Gandhi Carpets. They are ridiculous! I would have thought under new management they would be better, but the two brothers running the damn place are no better than the previous! Having used them numerous times before, there seems to be no appreciation for customer loyalty, which I thought would be quite high being a small business on the high street. We had a guy come in for measuring who was probably better than the rest of the muppets who work there! He told us the carpet would fit and would need a joint as the carpets would be large enough to cover the whole area of the living room and dining room. We went in and chose our carpets, and when arranging delivery, we specifically mentioned to come after 11am as we don't live in the property and would need to get there in the morning. ON THE DAY, they ring us at 9am to tell us they will be there for 9:30! NOW how is that near 11am?!?!?! Then they told us it's that time or never! WHAT SORT OF SERVICE IS THAT?! My wife made numerous calls to them and to try to get hold of the 2 managers is like finding gold dust! And when we did, everything that was discussed and agreed was fobbed off and told us they never told us! What nonsense! After finally managing to arrange the fitting for the following day (Today), they fitters arrive and now we are told that there will be a joint in the living room?!?!?! We rang them up and they were just full of excuses! At the time of our visit, the owners had all our notes and measurements to hand, and could they have not told us then?! Then they expect us to make a full payment - I don't think so! Not for the service we received! So much for customer loyal customer appreciation! Now I get told the fitters are being childish - I just hope they fit the carpet well otherwise this company has another thing coming! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You're better of spending a little extra with bigger companies who will probably end up providing you with better service! read more
