We had the banquet and it was superb. Great care was paid to even the slightest items, the papadams were light and not oily, the rice fluffy & moist, the naans delicious. Entree was tandoori chicken, lamb cutlets and steamed fish. The cutlets were probably the stand out but it was a close call. They were cooked in a fresh yoghurt sauce with spice and melted in the mouth. Main was a selection of 4 curries. Not a morsel was left. I cannot tell you what was best as they were all incredible. Dessert was a selection of Indian ice cream. This is the best Indian I have had and I have had Indian all around the world. While it's all available for selection in the hot cabinets, it's clearly fresh & recently prepared. I've since been back twice, and each time I've really enjoyed my food... a lot. There's a wonderfully large desert cabinet, full of temptations. So far I've resisted, but it wasn't easy. There are a few minor improvements that could be made here, like coat hooks in the ladies bathroom (a surprisingly important feature), and they need to keep their sauces in the fridge to stop them from exploding. Overall I'd rate this Indian food more highly than any I've had in Brisbane. Friendly service too.
