This place has the laziest most inconsiderate workers possible. Whoever invests their money running this place is setting up for failure. They purposefully do not answer the phone. I've rang the phone for an hour to prove a point and walked into the store while the phone was still ringing and they ignored it on purpose.I cannot imagine how many people call first to see if they have something in stock and never get an answer... so they don't end up going and spending money. I was going to but a console and 5 games but I called about 20 times over 2 days and they completely ignored my calls. So I spent a bout 1,000 dollars somewhere else! This isn't new they have been neglecting the phones completely... for years!!! What a money pit death trap to have this crew working for you. I feel bad for the owner. Best GameStop in New York! I guarantee it! As a gamer I've been to every game stop in pretty much all of Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and a ton in NYC. You have to when a game you want is out of stock and you have to track down who has it. Every employee at just about every GameStop is welcoming and nice but the New Rochelle GameStop exceeded any and all of my expectations. I have been there three time and was helped by different people. All three were wonderful but there was one particular time last week I was in with my wife and spoke to a gentleman with long hair (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name) but he made the experience amazing instead of good. My wife and I were welcomed, politely offered assistance and when I explained to him I was looking for a switch, accessories and some games he was so excited to help and offer all of his knowledge. I traded in a few things and he meticulously checked each item and showed me the positives and/or defects of my trade ins in vivid detail. I told him what kind of games I was looking for and his suggestions were spot on. And he wasn't pushy or trying to sell us things we didn't need. Thanks to him I'm in love with my new console, games, and experience and look forward to going back. read more
