GameStop has always held a special place in my heart, from my childhood days to my adulthood. It has been my go-to store for video games, consoles, and all things gaming. I have fond memories of walking through its doors and being greeted by rows and rows of shelves filled with new and used games, all waiting to be explored and played. As a kid, GameStop was the only place I would go to spend my allowance money. I would carefully browse through the vast selection of games, trying to decide on the perfect one to add to my collection. The staff was always friendly and knowledgeable, offering recommendations and tips on the latest releases. Even if I left without buying anything, I always had a great experience at the store. But what sets GameStop apart from other gaming stores is their trade-in program. As a kid with limited funds, I appreciated being able to trade in my old games for credit towards a new one. This allowed me to constantly try out different games without breaking the bank. And as I grew older, I continued to take advantage of this program, trading in my games to save money on newer releases. Now, as an adult, GameStop is still my go-to store for all my gaming needs. I am always impressed with their wide selection and competitive prices. From the latest AAA titles to rare and hard-to-find classics, GameStop has it all. And their friendly and helpful staff continues to make every visit enjoyable. Moreover, GameStop has expanded beyond just selling games. They now offer a variety of merchandise such as collectibles and accessories. It's a one-stop-shop for all things gaming, making it a convenient and reliable choice for gamers of all ages. One thing that sets GameStop apart from other retailers is their dedication to the gaming community. They host events and tournaments, bringing together players and fostering a sense of camaraderie. This makes GameStop more than just a store, but a hub for gamers to connect and share their passion for gaming. In addition, GameStop has also adapted to the changing times by offering digital downloads and online purchases. This makes it easier for customers to access their favorite games without even leaving their homes. In conclusion, GameStop has been and continues to be my favorite store. From my childhood to my adulthood, it has been a constant source of joy and entertainment. Its excellent selection, trade-in program, and dedication to the gaming community make it the ultimate destination for all gamers. I cannot imagine my gaming experience without GameStop, and I look forward to many more years of amazing products and exceptional service from this beloved store. Fantastic place for all the family plenty to do.and eat.a little pricey so youl need to look at the packages

this is terrible how are you going to take a break right before you close. I had arrived nearly 45 minutes before the store closed and for the entire time until the closing time of 9pm the employees were out on break! like really yea I understand you need your breaks but not right as your store is about to close leaving lots of customers unable to shop. very unprofessional and just irresponsible no wonder this company is slowly dying out. Take your business and money elsewhere! read more

I've been a customer for more than a decade, am part of there rewards program and make many purchases, but the last one has really unacceptable. I Purchased a system and a bunch of games on line, asked to pick up from store, they switched my order without telling me to home delivery and required "no signature, drop at door" for a 400 order. I've been calling customer service non stop and get the run-around. They emailed me a photo of the house my box was dropped off at but it wasn't my house. Now, my kid is out a present, I'm out 400 bucks, and GameStop could care less. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM, I WON'T, they lost a good customer. read more

Says opening at 10 but the guy is just sitting in there going very slow knowing he has customers waiting outside. It's 10:20 at the moment.

Very bad customer service asked twice for a product and I had to wait more than 20 min, only two people working. The guy was rude and expect for the young girl to do everything register and clients, left the store empty handed. Don't recommend this location at all read more

I should give this place 5 stars based on the entertainment they provide, I mean it is like watching Tweedledum and Tweedledee, and try to communicate with them ? useless. So a Gamestop is a video game store, been to one, been to all, but the difference is, who works there. I can't even say that this qualifies as work, first I had to stand in line while one of the employees explained to what seemed to be the manager why he had been late to work, and again, the entertainment value was priceless. But frankly, I am not interested in listening to stories while I wait in line and am ignored. Finally, the other "dude" finished with his personal conversation with some guy that was hanging out at the store, only when the character felt back about me waiting and volunteered to get out of the way so I could be helped. They didn't have the game we were looking for, which is fine, so I asked them to call another store, the ones in my neighborhood, which I not only know very well but I am very familiar with their location. I had to stand there for what seemed like the whole afternoon listening to these three gentlemen try to explain to me where the stores where and their zip codes, I can almost give them a point for trying to be helpful, but they were not, they were talking over each other, while I just stood there and resigned myself to endure the scene. I don't even remember when the whole thing ended, I think they stopped collectively to catch their breath and we just bolted out of there. I do have to be thankful, because every time I remember that whole event, I kind of laugh a bit on the inside and that is priceless. read more

I'm going to help out their rating on here, because every time I visit this gamespot, they are always very helpful and very kind to me. I usually only get used games from here, but I did end up buying my ps3 console from them a couple of weeks ago. The staff is always very helpful and very friendly. They never pressure me to buy anything and are constantly keeping me aware of all the great deals. I don't know if it's more of a unique experience, but I am grateful and glad to be able to visit such a helpful place, especially when it comes to getting my fix for gaming. read more

This location is trash. Came here to simply purchase 1 game and ended up waiting in line for 20 minutes before leaving without a transaction. There were 5-6 people in line and it did not move for 15 minutes. The cashier was doing something on his phone, and was talking back and forth with the customer about god knows what. Not only that but there was another employee behind the counter not assisting with the crowd growing, and just stocking shelves. These days, with the growing popularity of digital downloads, i wouldn't be surprised to see these game stores sink into oblivion. read more

I've been a video gamer ever since my parents bought me an original Nintendo Entertainment System when I was about 4. My parents now probably regret ever buying the stinking machine because it unknowingly created a monster! Granted I'm an adult now and I don't have much time to sit and play for hours like I did when I was a kid but I still enjoy the hobby. That being said I am going to share my knowledge on buying games in this review and why walking into a Gamestop store is absolutely the last thing you should ever want do. Video game titles range from $50-$60 and tax when they are newly released. I for one feel guilty when spending so much disposable income on a hobby. I rather use that for beer money. I especially don't like to pay full price on a game I may or may not finish or only last me 10-12 hours of game time. Gamestop campaigns its stores as a place where you can come in with your old video games and get store credit to use in new games. Supposedly you are to save money this way but what you soon discover is the absolutely measly store credit they will give you for a game. Let's say you purchase a game the week of release at msrp of $60 + tax. You decide to play the game for few days or even a week and decide you want to exchange it, get credit and use it on a different game. Prepare for the bad news. The most I've seen given for a fairly recent PS3 or XBOX360 game is $35. They will then put it on the store and try to sell it to some shlub for $55 and try to make that person feel good by telling them how much they saved! Gamestop stores are nothing more than a glorified pawn shops and a terrible one at that. They don't check games to see if they are working. Oh wait they do. They look at the back of the disks to see if they are scratched. Yeah, very thorough inspection! My friends have bought peripherals and had to go back to get a different one because they didn't work. That's why they tell you if you buy a used game, console or accessory and it doesn't work, you can return it in 7 days for a refund or exchange. Do you really want to go through the hassle of that? If you're trying to sell a game or a console you are better off putting it on craigslist or eBay and get more on the resale and you get real money that you can use anywhere. The same goes if you're looking to buy a used game, you can also try eBay or a dozen different websites and save money too! Granted you will have to wait a few days for the game to be shipped to you but that's just a small price to pay. I check all the big brick and mortar stores flyers religiously and Gamestop never has any sales noteworthy to speak of on new video games. That is not surprising since they make most of their revenue by reselling video games. Amazon.com, Best Buy, Toys R Us and Target are the most competitive and best places to find deals on games. I have often noticed a brand new game at these stores on sale for LESS than a used copy at Gamestop. Employees at Gamestop are another terrible factor at these stores. They are pushed by management to sell preorders of an upcoming game. When you are checking out, they will go on about their speech trying to do so. They will try and scare you into preordering your game because "the game is going to sell out everywhere." I smirk at there is no truth in this at all. Almost any brick and mortar department store sells video games these days and the Internet is available to me. If I must have some video game the week it comes out, I can find it no problem. They only place where I seen a brand new video game sold out is at a Gamestop and that's because they only order enough games to fill preorders. They are not interested in selling new games they are interested in selling used copies because this generates more revenue for them. I could go on about Gamestop and their shady business practices but I'll stop here. Spend a few minutes Googling Gamestop and you will see that these stores have an incredibly bad reputation with gamers and only really serve as a place for soccer mom's, who haven't a clue about video games, to go and get one for little Johnny. read more

I agree with everything mario b just said. There's no point going to gamestop for trading.they give you those bend over tar die value. Any use game you can get in eBay and really save money. Only sale gamestop has is that buy 2 get one free and that's still over a $100. I learned my lesson. Keep your games or sell then to someone you know. Gamestop is taking your money and smiling in your face. read more

Although the staff is friendly, their enthusiasm for video games is simply bland. They never do midnight releases for anything, no matter how big the game is. It is really discouraging since I enjoy going to midnight releases, also when certain pre orders come with amenities like a free poster, they fail to remember to give it to you when you pre order that game. I only go to this one because it is the closest one to me otherwise I'd go to a different location. read more

Don't ever buy used or supposed new playstations or xbox there, they all look like shit and dirty and so fucking expensive, it's just a rip off read more

I have to say that while I agree with Mario B's opinion of Gamestop's business practices. I do have to say that this store has a really great staff. Their all pretty friendly and outgoing, but most importantly, these guys know their stuff. If you plan on going in to buy someone a gift or buy a game but not sure about what you want to pick up, these guys can probably help you out. So yeah, business practices at ALL gamestops suck but this review is meant to reflect THIS stores service. read more
