Stopped in this place after spending the afternoon at the Barra Downtown Shopping beer festival, for an early supper with friends. It is quite a spacious place with an open kitchen and modern decor. Service was friendly, though took a while to get someone's attention when it started to fill up.
The food was quite good. Since the ribs they offered was only in a large family size portion (900g) I opted for the mushroom and Italian sausage risotto which was a little on the salty side, but quite a generous portion serving size and was very reasonably priced. The dinner sets had a few main dish options (chicken, salmon, filet mignon) with a choice of two side dishes (fried banana, cheesy rice, potato chips, grilled veggies) and a dessert (pudding or ice cream) for around R$50.
The salmon dish was also a little salty, but crispy and tender. The cheesy rice (arroz a piamontese) was quite tasty and filling. The fried banana was two whole banana crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside; it was almost like dessert.
The ice cream was fairly decent as well, with a little chocolate sauce poured over it.
For the price and the quality, this was a good combination.
Bathrooms upstairs were clean and service was decent. read more
