I sheltered from the rain in their second doorway, waiting for my family to exit the Brick. An older man opened the door by me, hurumped, and slammed the door. I was joined by my group then and one of the older ladies dropped a cracker for a chicken that was also sheltering. The man flew out the door and screamed at us to go away, twice. We started walking off and he came flying out again with a broom and furiously started sweeping the cracker bits into the sidewalk. He told us to go away once again. Yikes. We are in our seventies and didn't think that we appeared threatening. He was very rude. Would NEVER recommend anyone going there. Every other merchant on D street was lovely and we spent quite a lot of money. read more
