Sarah Day does my hair, and she is amazing. I have searched for several years now for a great stylist, and Sarah is it. She's managed to fix a terrible cut another (very experienced) stylist gave me, and now my hair looks it's best. Sarah really listens to what I want to do with my hair, and now it is exactly how I want it. Sarah is also sweet, friendly, and a joy to be around. She gives the best scalp massage while shampooing, and I love that. I went in today with a bad headache, and I felt 100% better by the time I walked out the door. My wonderful hairstylist moved away so I have been trying to find a new one. I stumbled over Gallery J and scheduled a 75 minute hair cut and treatment (dry hair) with Sarah Day online. My appointment was at 2pm, I was surprised to see that the store was empty and she was the only one there... Anyway, Sarah was nice, but the experience was not. After she was done trimming my ends she turbo blow dried my hair, which they always do before they style it, right? I suffered through agonizing pain - the brush she used while brow drying - it felt like she was trying to rip out all of my hair! I've never had an experience like this before, and my pain tolerance is pretty high, but this was terrible! I suffered through it looking forward to getting nice curls afterwards. When she was done, she said that's it! I asked: "Wait, won't you style my hair? I told you I really like my hair curled, not straight, please." She said she didn't have time for that. I was surprised to hear that, and I told her I still had 10 minutes left of my appointment and curling does not take very long. I said I was really looking forward to have my hair curled. She again said, no, she had to get ready for her next client - who wasn't even there yet!!! Who treats their clients like this? And who hasn't waited for the previous client to be finished with before? And again, that person was not even there. I was very upset, will definetley never go back there and she still has to learn a lot about customer service, because hers is terrible. read more

I will only trust Brooke with my hair. She's not only an amazing hair stylist but an easy person to talk with while you get your hair done. She's done my hair for about 6 years now. I've gone blonde, purple, short, long, just a trim, it's always perfect. The environment is very professional and lovely. Love going here! read more

I will never go back here and would recommend that no one else does either! I went in for a quick hair cut from Bre, a small, very young looking hair stylist. Not only did she royally screw up my hair, she cut my bangs unevenly and the ends of my hair were completely frayed. She also charged me for Olaplex, I have had this treatment done before, and there is no way that she actually put it in! I don't know if it was to scam me out of money or if she just forgot but she charged me for it and didn't do it. Either way this did not make me have much faith in her ability to preform her job correctly. I was so unhappy that I did not want to go back to get her to correct my hair, I went to a totally different salon. If you care about your hair do not let Bre McNeely cut your hair!! read more

I went in to get my hair done. They over processed it and ruined it. Then proceeded to tell me my hair was like frayed rope. That it was like that when I came in. She cut chunks off the back and left me completely gapped up. I didn't realize the cut was so bad because they sent me out with soaking wet hair. She "forgot" her diffuser. So I didn't know until I got home. I've been trying to grow it so unless I cut it off it can't be fixed. She put a "super cute" highlight right in the front so now I look like I have a skunk stripe because I have no choice but to wear my hair pulled up! I wish I had read the reviews first because I wouldn't have let Bre touch me! I've got to go pay again to have it fixed because she "doesn't do refunds". Brooke told her to hang up on me when I called. She said I should have called sooner, ummm I've been trying. No one returns phone calls and they don't answer either!
