There's a video history presentation that plays on loop and to say it is impactful and beautiful is an understatement. For those who don't know, there are two Ferrari museums, One in Modena that focuses on Enzo and the other is in Maranello, Italy, and is the home of the Ferrari factory and the Scuderia Ferrari racing team Both museums deserve a visit but I found Museo Enzo Ferrari to be better. The layout and car choices makes it very user friendly. The other Museum snakes through rooms and can be hard to get up close to some of the Ferraris. As one can see from my pictures, there is a lot of space around each of the Ferraris on display I highly recommend visiting the Enzo Ferrari museum even if you are a casual fan and even more if you are a Ferrari enthusiast

We were here on a weekend so it was super busy and packed everywhere. Most of the restaurants we liked was reservations only around the duomo. Be prepared to make some reservations before you meal times.

I guess every visitors in town has the same idea as it was packed! Just like all the churches in Italy, it was under constant renovation so a lot of the interior was covered or roped off during my visit. Luckily, the crypt was opened which is the burial site of Saint Geminianus, Modena's patron saint, with his remains still on displays. The exterior was nicely restored bringing back to its glory days with detailed sculpture and architecture details. Free entry is a plus!

I would have never known if not told to me by the folks at Osteria Francescana. So damn cool. Maseratis that go way back to the beginning. There are also aCollection of vintage motorcycles from all over the world. Some cars from other manufacturers too. But the core is the deep history of Maserati. Outside the Panini family also has a vintage collection of tractors in hi or of what they do. The first floor is the living quarters which features a living room, kitchen and entertainment area, while the second floor has a two-story Room filled filled with his awards. It is filled with light thanks to a massive sky light. We also saw many paintings by Pavarotti - who knew he was an artist as well as a singer? The top floor is filled with letters from people all over the world, as well as personal effects. There is a video loop as well - very moving.

They provide tours of the centuries old vinegar plant, it is excellent, a winery, the factory museum in Maranello and salami plant. The staff is helpful and enthusiastic and the buses are very comfy. Pavarotti ate here often , was childhood friends with the owner and had many celebrities at the restaurant. Cesare is the bald older gentleman who was friends with Pavarotti. His wife runs the office and coat room . Great people !! Excellent service and the pasta and porcini and the risotto were great. Had the Modena classic dessert of Barozzi , a dense chocolate cake torte with custard around it. Super experience and our lunch spot after visiting the Pavarotti house/museum about 5 meters away.
