I found a new podiatrist and found out that I had been receiving long time treatment for something I did not even have. I knew I had to find a new podiatrist when Dr. Vekkos came into the room where I was undergoing a VERY painful treatment and told the other doctor to stop because my crying was "not fair to the other patients." Seriously???? It took almost a year to fix the issue, but I am VERY satisfied with my new podiatrist and will NOT be returning.

Worse part is that during the surgery for my left toe Dr. Riya Vyas only performed the surgery on one side and forgot to do it on the other side, and forgot to prescribe antibiotics after surgeries, that caused me infections, fever and pain that I had to go to urgent care by myself. When I reach out to her and told her about everything, she never even said a word of sorrow, and she push all the blame on me - claiming I required to only do 50% of the surgery during the process. I never required such thing and why would I? Just use common sense, it's not that deep. So far I never received any apologies, no sympathy, her clinic was basically just protecting her and never showed me any sorrow. Walk into this clinic with your own risk, it's only "nice and friendly" when things goes well. You better hope you never get into any medical malpractice, otherwise they will just tell you "you asked for it" with cold tone.

I called my family doctor and couldn't get an appointment sooner than two weeks out. I called a local foot doctor and was told he's only open two days a week! I found Dr. Blaney through my insurance's website. He had full stars on their reviews. I called and spoke with his very friendly assistant and was told I could come in the following morning. Wonderful! I don't think I've met a more welcoming and cheery fellow. He listened attentively as I went through the life history of my foot and at the end, suggested that I might have a sciatica. But we went through all the possibilities just to be sure. He watched me walk, physically examined my foot and took X-rays all while explaining what he was looking for and what symptoms I would have if that was the case. During all this he maintained his energetic and enthusiastic attitude. In the end, his initial diagnosis was correct. I have sciatica. Turns out he's a runner too! He gave me some at home exercises to help relieve it and a discount coupon to a local shoe store! Isn't that sweet? Although I didn't have a foot injury, if I ever do, I'm definitely coming back to see Dr. Blaney!

She was aggressive in her encouragement of what she thought I needed to do and what was protocol. As I did more research after the appointment I found out very clearly that I did not need the additional services she charged thousands of dollars for that day. I felt very manipulated. Secondly, they are billing for charges that when I called to question they could not explain. My insurance provider said they are fraudulent charges and I am still going back and forth with them to correct their mistake. This exchange has been a nightmare and I strongly ask you to consider making an appointment with another provider.
