It was probably the most Spanish thing we did....drinking standing at the bar, eating tapas, and GASP, I decided that when in Rome I should do as the Romans, and so I ate some DELICIOUS mussels and something pate-like called Cabracho, which google says is scorpion fish. What the heck, it was delicious. This place was pretty packed, and had a nice comfortable vibe, right off of the Plaza Mayor. I saw some folks that had descended on Gijon for the same festival that we had, and a lot of Spanish folk that were either from there, or visiting from somewhere nearby. All in all it was a great experience that I highly recommend repeating.

Some of the more exciting dishes are a little pricey, but for me it was well worth it in terms of food and service quality. They also had some lower price alternatives that were probably quite good as well.
