Anyone loving art will certainly love this quaint little gallery. You don't need an entire day or hours and hours at a time, an hour is most likely enough; which doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the exhibits.
They currently have one of my favorite artists on display: The one and only Mel Ramos. For anyone not familiar with his work, Mel Ramos is a U.S. figurative painter who specializes in the art of nude and was also part of the Pop Art movement of the 1960s. One painting that might come to mind is the famous drawing of the Lucky Strike cigarette pack with the blond bombshell on it. Pin-Up and Pop Art has always fascinated me so it's great to see that Master's work in such a small setting.
The exhibit runs until October 12, so be sure to be quick! It's free of charge! read more
