Review is for the Michelin restaurant on the 1st floor, not the bar on the ground floor, although I…read morebelieve they share the same kitchen. The kitchen itself is partially visible from maybe 10 of the 30 dining places available.
The 1st floor decor was interesting, with what appeared to be a huge mural painted on one wall. Also, my visit was pretty quiet, but, on a busy night, I don't expect loud noises rising up the open stairs from the modernistic ground floor bar to be buffeted by the bead curtain separating the two areas.
The service was excellent, quick, attentive to detail without being overbearing.
And the food, of course, the main reason to visit. The summer prixe-fixe menu was quite good, especially the black cod. The only problems I had was with my translation of the menu: the Edelfischstreifen in the bouillabaisse was just salmon. And the pitahaya in the passionfruit/Mango dessert is just Drachenfrucht.
Nevertheless, I greatly enjoyed myself, and will have to return soon.
