My husband called to make an appt and gave all our insurance information (Sat), but the receptionist informed him that they would call back...it is now Monday and they still havent called. Doctor Levee is horrible doctor and does not have any manners. I go once a year for my blood work and all I ask is to get the same blood work done every year! She refused to add two additional test I got last year as it is "against her grain". She said my results prior year was within range and regardless it was a test I wanted done... I still wanted to add the test to make sure there was no change in those test and as a patient should have the ability to request the blood work desired as either I will pay or my insurance will pay... Just frustrating when I pay my insurance and either I am covered with the test or I pay out of pocket... regardless it does not hurt to add the test if the patient is asking for it! HealthCare Partners said all I can do is schedule me for another appointment (so they can make money) to see if the doctor will add the tests for me... RIDICULOUS!!! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Levee and her Physicians Assistant Britney. I have been going Dr. Levee's office for the past four years and have had no issues with paperwork, getting apointments or billing. I have had some minor medical issues all of which were addressed with labs etc. in a timely manner. Dr. Levee has helped me out twice where I think she went above and beyond- once when I forgot to take along a Rx and she called it in for me on Thanksgiving (which I felt terrible about) and another time when I was having severe pain, showed up at her office and she fit me in. read more

I have been going to Dr. Gail LeVee for over 20 years and love her! I find her to be very thorough and easy to talk to, very compassionate and an excellent Dr. I have specialists who I go to for other health issues and the other Drs. all think she is very sharp and a great Doctor. She always gives plenty of time at the offc visits to answer my questions, she always explains my blood test results and goes over all test results in detail, I find her very reassuring. AVOID this doctor...... Please do yourself a favor and do not see this doctor, Gail Levee. She admitted she does not know what is wrong, but continues to prescribe different medications every other week. When asked what she was treating me for, she said she really did not know. Was just trying different drugs to see if one happened to work. I voiced concern over my condition and explain I was very worried as this has been going on for some time. Her response was "i am very concerned too, not sure what it is" REALLY DOC after all this, dont you think a referral to a specialist would be helpful or possibly blood work? I love Dr. Levee, she is a caring professional that takes time out to explain all of my test results and listens to every single one of my concerns. So, I switched to Dr. Levee as my primary care physician, since my last PC ended up moving and leaving my network. Initially I had said that I wanted a doctor who was patient, sweet and kind and great beside manner. Since I kind of have anxiety, I knew I needed a doctor that would be able to understand that. When Dr. Levee first walked in the office and started talking, I was like " this lady is not very warm or nice, and I can't wait to get home so I can yet again switch my doctor". However, as the appointment went on, she grew on me, and I realized that maybe the "sweet candy like" doctor is not exactly what I needed after all. Dr Levee is about her business, making sure that she gives you the best care, to her knowledge and with the information that she has. She's not your "June Cleve"r type of doctor. However, she will make sure to give you the information that you need and she never once made me feel like she just wanted to prescribe medications to me and then send me on my merry way. I gave her a hard time about my medications, and she stood strong and stood her ground on what she thought was best and why. On our first visit, she wanted to give me an EKG and I had already had one before I came to see her, and she didn't care, she wanted to make sure her office gave me one to see for herself what the results were before prescribing my medication. Dr. Levee appeared to care about me as a patient. She's not your hold your hand, stroke your back kind of doctor, but she's good and so far I am pleased. Now her staff on the other hand... the lady who checks you in, I am not sure what her name is, but she is always very kind and warm. Dr. Levee's nurse or PA the one who takes your vitals, she is not very personable, and at least every time that I have come, appears to not enjoy her job very much. Maybe she is going through something, however, sometimes you have to leave it at the door. I personally would much rather deal with the other lady. Other than that, I'd recommend Dr. Levee and believe you me, should I experience otherwise, I will be writing another review! read more

Dr. Levee where have you gone? I found Dr. Levee to be an excellent Doctor. She took her time with me when I was a new patient. I have never felt rushed out of the office. She scoured my medical history and that of my immediate family members. She called me personally with the results of my tests and when I had some weird numbers in my bloodwork she had me come in immediately to repeat the tests. She advised me on possible issues but has left decisions up to me. She is super intelligent, direct and to the point without being cold or condescending. My one complaint would be that she moved offices (which I did receive a notice in the mail about), I followed and then she left the group she had joined. I really don't want to switch Doctors again....I'd love to know if she is still out there practicing somewhere. read more

The physician's assistant, Britney, no longer works here. (I wonder why?) Instead, Dr. Levee now has David, who is very nice and professional. They gave me a same day appointment for an annual check up. He followed up quickly and was very courteous. The office staff however, always manages to mess up my bill to the insurance. read more

I haven't had a primary care physician in years, even decades. I've never been one who looks forward to going to the doctor for any reason. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised the first time I walked in Dr. Levee's office. No waiting, friendly staff, and completely knowledgeable and understanding doctor! What more could you ask for in a primary care physician? I've now been there twice and have found my doctor for life. So disappointed, My husband and I had Gail Levee as our primary doctor for over 10 years, in the past few years we saw less and less of her, since she moved its worst our experience is of disappointment, we have called twice and was on hold for 20 minutes, our medical records are not up to date, even our personal information was not updated from 10 years ago. My husband is not feeling well we asked for a call back and it has been 2 days and no call back even when we've informed the receptionist my husband was in Urgent Care. Dr. Leeve is a horrible doctor. I also had the same exact experience as Yelp member, Ray R. Dr. Leeve refused to order the blood tests that I requested and she asked me the following "Would you order all that if you had to pay for it?" I told her that neither her or I were paying for it and that's the reason I was paying my health insurance. She still did not order all the exams and I had to switch to another Dr. in the same office to get the tests that I requested. Good thing that Dr. O' Conor is more understanding and took care of the situation. I am shocked to see that several people here on yelp reviews have had the same issue. I do not use Yelp review a lot for positive reviews due to my lack of time, but when there is an injustice, I make the time in order to help the community against corrupt and unprofessional people. read more

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Gail Levee, she has been my doctor now for 11 years, and she is the best. Caring but professional, very thorough and reassuring. I love that she takes the time to talk and listen to me, which I find rare with most Doctors. Itszell her office manager is so on top of things and runs a tight ship. When it took me 3 weeks of giving up trying to make an appointment because I'd sit on hold for over 20 min and no one would ever come to the line I should have just changed doctors then. But I stuck it out and finally got an appointment. It gets worse from there. Their address online is wrong, when you go to the wrong address and call them to say what happened, they don't care. They told me that they'll do part of my appointment since id be late, but at least would refill my meds and do blood work. When I arrived (after hassling with parking), they said they'd have to reschedule it all because I'm a new patient so they won't do anything for me. I explained I'm a masters student who works full time and took the morning off for this and can't do that again. They didn't care. They refused to do anything but reschedule me. I explained how difficult they had been to get ahold of even to make this appointment and they just shrugged. They were checking with the doctor herself and she didn't care or offer to do anything about the situation. I've never been treated with such disrespect and disregard. I consider it a blessing as obviously she's a terrible doctor if she can't get something this simple right, but an unfortunate ordeal when I don't have the time to waste. Thankfully my insurance company has amazing customer service and was able to immediately find me a new doctor in a different medical group. I like Dr. Levee, but a lot of things get overlooked in her office. Both times that I've seen the PA Britney, Britney hasn't even looked at my chart before coming in and seems completely unprepared to talk about what's going on. It's very difficult to schedule an appointment with Dr. Levee, so you often have to see Britney. read more

Dr. Levee didn't help me at all and got nasty with me one day on the phone. When I tried to get a copy of my medical records (because I'll never go back there), they said they would charge me $30.00 whether they mailed them or I picked them up ... seems a little excessive for a copy of a few sheets of paper. Her staff was inefficient too - called for test results (because they never called me) and got the runaround on more than one occasion. read more

Dr. Levee is a very good Dr. I have recommended her several times and when my children turned 18 I have switched them to her, I really like the NP Regina, she is really a very nice lady. the only negative thing is her support staff, they are rude and short. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Levee for too many years to remember. We think she is wonderful. Unlike most doctors she takes the time to listen to you and ask questions. She and her staff are always ready to help with any inquiry you may have and will try hard to get you a last minute appointment should you need one. I totally agree with the other bad reviews of this doctor and her practice. As Cheri mentions below, I would never ever recommend this doctor for a full physical. OR rather never recommend this doctor for any exam. The doctor is booked out for months and has no time to see new patients. What I still haven't understood is why do doctors take on more patients than they can handle? Its been over 5 months since I signed up for this doctor and I am still to have my first appointment with the doctor. The first time I went in, I saw the assistant David. That too after I had to wait a good 45 -55 mins before I saw anyone. Because I was so frustrated waiting, I decided to speak to someone and when I walked in, I see David merrily chatting on the phone. I have a strong feeling that all these positive reviews you see on this site are written by one of the members on this team. The people at the front desk are rude, as noted by other Yelpers. You can never get an appointment, ever! The first avail date is usually a month and a half out. And they take 2.5 hour lunch breaks. Which clinic does that? If you work from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on just FOUR weekdays AND on top of that, you take TWO hour lunch breaks, how many hours do you actually work? On several occasions these people promised to call my pharmacy for a prescription refill and never did, so I reach the pharmacy for a pick up and realize they havent called it in! If you ever wish to speak with the doctor, be warned, you will never get the chance to speak with her on the phone. The assistants promise to call you back after consulting the doctor and never call back. I thought I will give these guys a chance to show that they are worth it, but with all these many hassles, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. I am so bummed by the service that I decided to open a new Yelp account, just so that I can warn people and prevent others from bad experiences like mine!
