I have been seeing Alexa for a couple of years now and I could not recommend her more! Every time I leave a session I myself am inspired to start my own practice and become an acupuncturist as she truly does heal me and I would love to be able to move people in just half the capacity that she does. She truly cares about her clients not only physically and emotionally, but also spiritually. Her fire cupping sessions are only 30 mins, but truly feel like an hour in conjunction with the most relaxing massage. Alexa is also super intuitive, once she asked me if I had trouble making decisions (100%, I'm an air sign ) because I couldn't stop laughing when she was massaging my thighs which apparently is linked to my gall bladder. I have been going to Alexa for accupuncture for several years and really can't say enough good things about her knowledge and care. Alexa has an innate understanding of how the human body works. One time I let her know that I was having issues with anxiety. I had gone to yoga and couldn't do the heart opening poses because I became overwhelmed. Alexa took this information and placed the needles to release my tension. Halfway through the session I literally felt the tension in my hips release and my legs dropped against the bolster. I didn't even realize that I was holding all that stiffness! Her cupping technique is both relaxing and invigorating, and unlike any other cupping experience I have had. I was going through some major lower back pain for the first time in my life due to some poor ergonomics at a new job. It was so bad, I found myself sleeping on the floor for weeks because the pain of lying in bed was too much to bear. A friend of mine recommended acupuncture, and Alexa specifically. Booking the appointment was easy. I didn't know what to expect, but Alexa guided me through the whole process. The facilities were clean and fragrant, and definitely helped to put me at ease. She explained the acupuncture process very clearly for a novice like me. Alexa has a great, warm energy about her and is very skilled at what she does. We started off with a massage that was amazing - equal parts firm and relaxing - and then got into the acupuncture. The process was never painful, and I would feel a nice pang of relief when the needle would hit the 'belly' of my sore, tight muscles. OMG. Alexa is AMAZING. Seriously cannot praise her enough. I found her through my insurance. It was my first experience with acupuncture. I was a bit nervous. She set me at ease and afterwards I was maybe the most relaxed I have been in years. I was totally hooked after that. I was skeptical about doing acupuncture, but I went in because I had horrible neck pain and nothing was working. I was a gifted a session with Alexa by a friend and was more than pleased with her work. Alexa is welcoming, interested, caring, and knowledgeable. We first began by discussing what my issues were and decided to focus on the specific ones. My one hour appointment began with 20 minutes of cupping, a suction therapy to move blood. This was my first time having it and I really enjoyed the feeling. I also appreciated the aromatherapy during it. The acupuncture was pleasant also, and felt very relaxed.
