Awful appointment with Dr Schleicher yesterday. I'm English and my husband rang surgery to see if the doctor spoke good English they assured him she could. He asked for a skin cancer screening appointment and they said usually you have to book months in advance but he was lucky there was one in a weeks time. we took that. Arrived early got seen 45mins after appointment time, she couldn't speak English and seemed very annoyed that I'd asked. Eventually got my husband in who she was annoyed at because she had no time for the screening it should never have been booked plus she was trying to navigate a new online system - nine of which was my fault. She finally agreed to do screen. I was asked to take my clothes off - no gown, no curtain and only a voile at the window told to lie on a bed. she had no gloves on and examined me like a piece of meat prodding, poking, lifting up limbs and dropping them down, examined scalp by pulling my hair to get me to move my head! I think I would have been treated better in a police station having a strip search! No empathy no concern over the patient's vulnerability. Made me feel just horrible. Won't be going back! read more
